Brief of TrueTONE
®
TrueTONE , S.L. is a company dedicated to the industrial studies for color
applications, at multiple levels and in different areas. For years, research has
been conducted on the color, his behaviour, the associated problems and their
solutions. All this information and experience is what has been used as a basis
for creating new products.
As professionals, we have suffered the problems that arise at certain stages of the
specific processes of the printing industry. Problems surely have caused us
challenges to the customer... Not to mention the loss of time and therefore
money, having to repeat and discarded several times to get a job in order to
achieve the desired result.
®
TrueTONE proposes a solution color based using the same inks as both live
screeing from a formulation that includes all combinations on screen and digital
using heptacromia. At the same time poses a workflow between all those
involved to imporve color communication between them.

4. Brief of ZIRABA S.A
ZIRABA S.A. is a company dedicated to prepress and cylinder engraving for
Gravure, Flexo (sleeves) and Embossed.
When Ziraba began his career, engraving was carried out by the rollers and
electrical systems were beginning to introduce technology for embossing and
subsequent production of cylinders for manufacturing duplex textured wallpaper,
which required the use of two different cylinders. After three years of work in 1975,
the German group Walter Wetzel GmbH joined the company and in 1999 is
integrated into the group RSD Technik GmbH. Since then, the company follows a
process of continuous improvement and has not technological evolution stopped
adapting to the increasingly advanced systems of engraving. Today, with modern
facilities of 3,000 square meters, equipped with latest machinery, Ziraba is
specialized in digital recording systems to láser. Targeted sectors as varied as can
be, wallpaper, packaging or ceramics, among others Ziraba machinery
incorporated digital laser copy. Present throughout the domestic market also has
30% of its production for export, mainly to markets in Europe and South America.
Ziraba based its success on the market in a philosophy of constant innovation,
supported by the use of cutting edge technologies and continuous training of its
staff.

 Logically when you go from CMY to CMYK or HeptaCROMÍA will be a

change on color or tone, in the same way when go from HeptaCROMÍA to
CMYK and CMY will be a change in color or tone, simply because of the
pigment ink changes.
 The fact of looking at the minimum possible number of combinations to
reproduce any color, or in other words, instead of using 107.213.535.701
combinations for 7 colours use the 3.060.702 necessary, bring to the
transformation as the easiest, faster and accurate system on the market,
copyright protected.
 In the other hand the same case occur with the CMYK instead of using
104.060.401 combinations will be use the 2.030.401 necessary.

 There have been important solutions for color management, but none have
been the perfect solution, as you know color technicians and printers.
 Our all-digital approach, independent of the printing technique, influences all
involved industrial processes where color and shades interfere.
 Is that one of the reason that we are still on R & D now with automatic color
system with the company E + L.
 We therefore believe that the ISO has to change in certain aspects of the
control procedures of color, and even more with the approach of the 15339
standard as it can be this way, for the rest use it as reference.

 We have a formulation that is capable of transforming from tricomy values to

of this formula is to comply with certain combinations properties:
 Cover the entire color espace (only bounded by physical limits of the
ink).
 Carried by the minimal inks possible to reach the color.
 The black only appears when is required.

 Based on the study of color, TrueTONE establishes a correlation
between digital color and direct color, so that if a customer needs a spot
color in a job but in another job needs the color but this time ondigital,
our system will easily do this task.

Use of HeptaCROMÍA , allow us to expand our gamut in order to match a
especific density or especial color, any of the customer needed. Using
empty desks or not used in especific jobs to obtain an expanded gamut in
the especific areas as you can see on this samples. Also we have violet and
rodhamine for specials colors.

 Among the projects TrueTONE is currently developing the automatic
color control system for rotatory machine with inspection system
company Erhardt+Leimer GmbH
 We currently have Ziraba as engraver for gravure roller.
 In the other hand we have Chimigraf as a certify ink manufacturer for
gravure and flexo inksets.
 Another project underway, is to obtain, with the same inkset, the same
digital colors get as direct color at the machine.
