The items which are not clarified by the professional code of conduct are:-
1) Whether a person is liable in a cour action:- Professional codes of conduct do not provide
about whether a person is liable to legal action or not, it is decided by the lega laws and not the
ethic.
2) Whether a contract is enforceable :- It is also not clarified by the professional codes of
conduct. This is decided by the terms and conditions of the contract as well as the pertaining
situation and its consequences.
3) Complaints who seek remedy such as monetary damages:- whether something is liable to
remedy or not is decided by the court as per the legal laws and not as per the professional codes
of conduct.
4) Engagement in personal or professional conduct that upholds the reputation of the department-
Professional codes of conduct do not clarify whether an aengagement contains personal conduct
or it contains the professional conduct.
