Codes and Conventions
of Print Adverts

• Has to relate to the documentary
• Only one image is used
• Fills the whole advert
Logo
• Channel 4 logo is place on the right side of the advert, In the middle.
• Likewise to my documentary, this will be the same.
• The logo is intended to fit into the background.
Text
• There are mainly two lines of text on the print advert itself:
• Slogan and The documentary name, with date, time and channel.
• The text would have a block background around it to make it stand
out.
Picture fills the whole
