Nast that has a total circulation 1,315,304. Vogue means “in style” in French. It’s aimed at fashion every month they

Is a UK-based magazine devoted to Rock music published by Bauer Media group.
Circulation is 42,077. The founder is Alan Lewis first issue at 6th June 1981 published
weekly. The publisher Bauer Media group industries in publishing and broadcasting is a
multinational media company headquartered in Hamburg Germany which operates in 16
countries around the world. Worldwide circulation of Bauer Media group’s magazines
titles amounts to 38 million magazines a week. They also publish Bella, Take a Break and
That’s life! And TV listings titles. Bauer Media brands Q magazine and Kerrang. Bauer
has a 50% stake in the British Company BOX television the other half owned by Channel

5. Mad
Is an American humour magazine founded by editor Harvey Kurtzman. The circulation is
175,000-2,100,000. They do comics and can be to all age range they also do about lifestyle,
entertainment and politics. The owner DC comics publications in comics and is one of the
largest and most successful companies operating in the market for American Comic books.
The parents company of DC comics are Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. and Time Warner.
Warner Bros Entertainment it was founded at 1918. It’s an American producer of film,
television and music entertainment it’s also subsidiary with Time Warner which is an
multinational media corporation. It was the world’s second largest media and entertainment
conglomerate in terms of revenue (behind the Walt Disney Company), The Time Warner also
has divisions in HBO, Turner, Broadcasting System, Inc Warner Bros and Time Inc.
6. Other magazines platforms
Magazines has different platforms such as websites, apps ect which this leads to an
advantage of having more buyers but also more media interest as many people today
don’t even buy magazines they buy through apps on ipads, blackberrys and many
other technology mostly on the internet.
7. Advertising on magazines
Advertisement that you see on the magazines pays and helps supports the magazine
company to publish as the magazines gets money from the advertisements and no other
way also they get money from the customers who purchases the magazines but it don’t
make much of a profit alone from it as paper and printing costs a big amount of the
money to the company.
