The document argues that blending online and traditional face-to-face learning is most effective. It states that traditional learning allows for teacher-student interaction and active participation, which aids long-term retention, while online learning offers flexibility, low costs, and convenience. Research shows students performed better in a blended model compared to exclusively online or traditional. A blended approach provides the benefits of both and most effectively fosters learning and education.

BLENDING IS EVERYTHING FOR EFFECTIVE LEARNING
Balance is the key. Nowadays it is a widely asked question whether studying online is
better than studying in an actual school face-to-face with a teacher together with other students.
Since we are living in the 21st century where technology and innovations are crucial to
development, we cannot deny the fact that we need computers and internet so we could have
access to all sorts of information, nor can we erase the idea of schooling. Ever since the era of
the great scientists and philosophers, the concept of going to school or just having a teacher to
equip you with learnings, has been the reason why many geniuses were born and are currently
looked up to until today. We need to understand that both techniques: actual and online studying
are important for the effective learning of every student.
Traditional learning and online learning have their own advantages. The interaction
between the teacher and the students is very important in the process of learning. This is what
traditional learning offers students. Students actively participating and performing actively
whether it is through classroom-based discussions or scientific experiments can have a better
understanding and long lasting retention of the lesson. It can ensure that the learner understands a
topic comprehensively because of the on point assessments and teachers can monitor the growth
of the students because they always see each other. Teachers in a classroom have a chance to
offer extra assistance or utilize a different approach in teaching a given subject. It creates social
relationship with others and you can form memories that you will never forget. However, the
traditional face to face learning has some weak points and online learning can sure to fill them up
for us students.
In online learning, we can study and learn anything we want. Having passion is what we
need and if we are interested in something, we can enroll at any class online. It is also low-cost
compared to the expensive tuition fees in other schools. In addition, it is recommended for
people who have tight schedules because it is flexible and you can be anywhere at any time. It is
self-paced so people do not need to meet target dates to finish the assessments. Another
important reason that proves learning through online is just as good as face-to-face learning is
that it provides you comfort. For many years, students spent hours sitting on uncomfortable
chairs and having backaches at the end of the day. We do not need to wake up early and endure
2. all the exasperation due to traffic. It is best for people who would like to experience real
convenience as long as they do not get too comfortable. Blending these two methods of learning
will provide an efficient education to everyone.
A 2012 article entitled “Inside Higher Education” states that students who were part of a
blended education model performed better than those who were exclusively one or the other.
Rasmussen College found that it is 14,000 and more students faired similarly. Moreover,
according to the RAND (Research AND Development) Corporation in US, they found that a
group of middle and high school algebra students who learned via blended learning model
showcased significant gains in performance. The blended model provides very convenient yet
very effective and advanced software while maintaining the traditional classroom-and personal
guidance and encouragement of a teacher.
As of today, many students have been serving as living testimonies of how effective the
blended learning method is. We learners of the 21st Century are witnesses to this, we strongly
believe that we deserve to learn through means that concord to what we need. In order to provide
significant and substantial education to all growing learners we all need to think of efficient ways
to foster successful adults someday through integration and cooperation. All of us have to
acknowledge and give way to new ideas that could help the education system to prosper. This
two-way learning is just one of the many solutions to what we aim to achieve. If we are aspiring
for the students to better understand the lesson, let them learn in whatever way they wanted to
learn. We should not enclose their capabilities in a standard way of teaching because each of us
has our own way of learning. Why choose one when you know both methods are essential and
beneficial?
