  • Kim and Katie introduce themselves Kim first Katie next At Schipul we are pretty geeky – in fact, you pay us to be that way  We like to stay on top of the latest online technology trends, the coolest new social sites In the last few years, it’s been exciting to see how a lot of these technologies have made it into mainstream media, large corporation’s business plans and non profit groups all over the world. It’s not such an ‘elite’ geek thing anymore, but it can still be a little frightening when you’re just starting out. Kim and I are here today to help de-mystify some of the ‘scariness’ around Social Media tools. There are lots of buzz words you might hear from your kids, on CNN or even from your boss. Our goal is to help you make sense of some of these new technologies and – even more importantly – be able to see where you can utilize Social Media in your own marketing plans. We’ll start by making a very quick run through of some of the Social media tools out there, then Kim will show us how real organizations just like yours are utilizing them and then we’ll give you some ideas on how to get started.
