In the evaluation the following questions must be
answered:
• In what ways does your media product use, develop or
challenge forms and conventions of real media
products?
• How effective is the combination of your main product
and ancillary texts?
• What have you learned from your audience feedback?
• How did you use media technologies in the
construction and research, planning and evaluation
stages?
3. Objective: Achieve a level 4 for evaluation
Outcome: A presentation using prezi demonstrating the connections between their final film
opening and ‘real’ film openings in the same genre

CHALLENGE TODAY:
Using information from your blog-
Create a prezi (presentation) to give to the class which
visually demonstrates the ways in which you used
conventions and ways in which you deliberately challenged
conventions of your chosen genre.
This should have print screens from films that inspired your
film opening and print screens from your own film.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
CHALLENGE TODAY:
Imagine you have to deliver an ‘Apprentice Style’ pitch. Write a
pitch explaining the decisions that you made about the look of the
three elements to your project: music video + advert + digipak.
Create a Prezi – At the centre of your presentation - import your
music video. Around the outside place the other elements: advert
and digipak. Add in your pitch to connect the three elements.

CHALLENGE TODAY:
Show your footage so far to someone else in the class.
Prepare some questions to gain some constructive ways to
help you improve your work.
Create a short video (in a journalist style) of the process
summarising at the end what your group have learnt and
how you intend to progress.

Outcome: A post showing the skills and progression made across the project

How have your skills developed over the course of
the production.
CHALLENGE TODAY:
Take photos of you using the equipment – editing
machines, tripods, cameras etc.
Add the photos to your blog with a description of
what you learnt.
