2. What is Multimedia ?
Multimedia refers to content that uses a combination of
different content forms.
This contrasts with media that use only rudimentary
computer displays such as text-only or traditional forms of
printed or hand-produced material.
Multimedia includes a combination of text,
audio, still images, animation, video, or
interactivity content forms.

• This style of system improves HCI by emulating real-world interactions and providing
better ease to use for non-technical people.
• Users can carry skill at a standardized interface from one application to another.
• Research issues including new apps for new interfaces such as touch screen and air

• is a system of interlinked hypertext documents that are accessed via the Internet.
• With a web browser, one can view web pages that may contain text, images, videos, and
other multimedia and navigate between them via hyperlinks

What are Wearable Devices?
The terms “wearable technology“, “wearable devices“, and “wearables”
all refer to electronic technologies or computers that are incorporated
into items of clothing and accessories which can comfortably be worn on
the body.
Examples of wearable devices:
~ watches, glasses, contact lenses, e-textiles and smart fabrics,
headbands, beanies and caps, jewelry such as rings, bracelets, and hearing
aid-like devices that are designed to look like earrings.
