2. • What has been done since the 2nd IDMP CEE workshop till now
(April 2014 – October 2014)?
We prepared a review titled Analyse the current status
of the existing Drought Management plans across the
Europe and other existing drought policy and
management documents besides Drought
Management plans of European countries – Work
Package 7, Activity 7.1

3. • At what stage of the final output(s) are we at the moment?
We have done a Review of available National Action
Plans (Northern Mediterranean, Central and Eastern
Europe, United Kingdom) and a Review of Central and
Eastern countries – desertification and drought
documents

4. • What were the main difficulties we encountered and how did we
solve them?
We are having difficulties to include other activities from
IDMP CEE to our final output (report) because some
activities will not be finished till our final review and
some do not have a results to include
We are kindly asking all activity leaders and co-workers
to prepare a short summary of results which need to
be included into our Compendium!

5. • Have there occurred any changes from the original plan? Why?
For now (second intermediate report) we did not change
our working content. The content is the same.
1.Review of existing DMPs from EU (and other regions) – done! (to
update)
2.Good practises from IDMP CEE (Activities 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 5.1,
5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6) – we will include only appropriate
activities!!
3.Good practices from other projects (EU, world)

6. • Where do we find links with other IDMP CEE activities?
In our final output Compendium of Good Practices we
will include appropriate activities. The main
connection we see with Activities 2.1 and 2.2
(Guidelines for Drought Management Plans; Elena
Fatulova – Act. leader) and from other we will include
abstracts.

7. • What are our plans for the final period (October 2014
– March 2015) and what will be our final output(s)?
We will prepare a final output Compendium of Good
Practices (a review document of our work – max. 80
pages till December 2014) and we have an idea of
preparing a final brochure (max. 30 pages)

8. • What kind of challenges/problems do we expect?
Our goal is to find a good connection with other Activities
from IDMP CEE, especially Activities 2.1 and 2.2
• in our final output we want to include results/good
practices from IDMP CEE project to represent them to
the public

9. • In what aspects would we like to continue our activity?
Do we have any concrete proposals for follow-up projects
and funding sources?
If we will have an opportunity to prepare a public
brochure we will change our content (more shortly
and briefly content) – we already did this for Slovenia
(ARSO, 2013) – a brochure can be a really good
output of IDMP CEE project for public!
