2. • The basic need to hobby to profession, food
has become something everyone loves. It is
not just something which you eat to fulfill
your need, it’s a desire, a craving. So, when I
decided of writing a post, I thought of writing
my first one on food.
3. • Last few years have seen rise in professions related to food and it’s not just
the number of chefs in a typical restaurant. There are food bloggers, food
reviewers, food photographers, cookbook writers, food artists and many
more. In India, food has many regions, colors, tastes. Indian Cuisine is
known for its rich flavors and exclusive spices. There are many types and
ways of making the same dish in different regions. If you just talk about
Biryani which in simple words can be described as rice with meat and
spices has different ways of preparation and tastes. There is Hyderabadi
Biryani, Lucknowi Biryani, Ambur Biryani, Kolkata Biryani and so on. Most
Indians are natural cooks and so it has given rise to people who write
about food and people who read about food. You will find many food
bloggers, Vloggers in India and so are the number of subscribers to these
blogs and YouTube channels. This became boon for small time developers
and digital media professionals. These people help the food enthusiasts to
enter digital world and expand horizon.
4. • After reading some food blogs and watching
food channels I have made a list of things one
should work on while starting a journey in this
space.Here are few things from my
observation and understanding:

about the topic you are going to write about.
• Content – Your content is of course on your
experience and understanding but read it
from a reader’s point of view. Make sure it is
grammatically correct and written in
understandable way.
6. • Pictures – Even if your content is exceptional, it is
incomplete without pictures. Pictures give a complete
attention to your blog. Humans can relate more to
visual content than textual one. So always add pictures
to the blog.
• Social Media – Now you have written exceptional blog
with delightful pictures, here is the time you need
reader. So where will you get readers? For this you
need social media presence. You should make smart
usage of social media websites to promote your blog
and should also be consistent on these channels. That’s
