8. Photo Shoot Ideas Front Cover: I really liked the idea of incorporating cartoon like features into my photo shoot. My main premise is to have my 3 band members, each holding a sign, spelling out the title of the band. In the background I will have an ordinary street, to give them a more down turn earth, relatable look. After taking this photo, I will slightly edit the photo, adding a cartoon effect mast head and maybe some more minor details. Also, I will edit the photo altering the contrast, possibly experimenting with effects such as sepia, and black and white. Double Page Spread: For my double page spread, I will create an interview with the band featuring on the front cover. They will discuss their new album, and discuss easy reading issues, and facts the readers didn’t know. I will make the interview very informal, with an almost friendly lexis. This encourages the reader to feel personalized and relate to the article. Contents Page: My contents page will include more photos of my front cover band, variously posed for artistic effect. I will provide a small section of information, revealing what the main articles are about, and which page they can be found on. I will try and carry on features such as the cartoon atmosphere, to enforce recognition with the front cover.
