SiMania Joint Legacy Chapter 3
1. Welcome back to the SiManian Joint Legacy! This is chapter three, so if you haven’t read the previous two chapters, you definitely will want to do that! This chapter is written by Haleigh aka MeadowThayer. One thing I might mention to you is that this became a duelacy so Dexter McMania was extracted and sent to Linn/whydoeye199 to play, therefore he will not be seen in any chapters of “Sally’s” portion of the duelacy.
2. This is our founder, Sally McMania, and how she looks on my game. I have the same default eyes and skins as Darcy/elushi0us who wrote the first two chapters. So they look pretty much the same as they did in her game. I just have a different color choice for the eyes, and my skins are slightly darker than hers.
3. As most of you remember, this is Grayson McMania (previously Grayson Go,) Sally’s family sim husband, and the father to her children.
4. This is the eldest child, Charlie, and also the twin brother of Dexter – the one who was sent to Linn/whydoeye199.
5. And finally, we have the youngest child of Grayson and Sally – Lincoln. Lincoln is also our heir.
8. College Years I decided not to make two chapters for my turn. Instead I’ve just added a section header for this. Here we have Charlie and Lincoln’s college years!
9. Charlie aged into a very handsome young adult, don’t you think? He rolled an annoying family sim LTW, to raise 20 puppies or kittens. Good thing he’s not the heir, lol.
10. Speaking of our heir, Lincoln aged very nicely! Darcy forgot to mention it in her chapter, but Lincoln is a popularity sim. He got a LTW of Becoming Captain Hero, that’s a piece of cake!
11. Being a popularity sim, Lincoln makes friends quite quickly, so when he made friends with Ratnaand I saw that they had high chemistry, I decided that Ratna would be Lincoln’s future wife.
12. But first we needed to do something about her hair. After a new hairstyle and some make up, Ratna looks much better!
13. Because of their high chemistry, it didn’t take long for Lincoln to receive his first kiss from Ratna,
14. Soon the couple were best friends, and I had Lincoln ask Ratna to move into the house*. *If you think this house looks familiar to you, if you’ve read my completed legacy, The Davis Legacy, it most likely does. It’s the house I had the family in for quite a while. And somehow, when I moved Charlie and Lincoln into a clone of it, it was still completely furnished!
15. She moves in right away, and gets a new dress. I think she’s gorgeous because she’s not the same old face one sim that a lot of people tend to marry into their legacies. Ratna is a fortune sim.
16. She gets along well with Charlie too, and every time that Charlie plays the piano, Ratna ends up coming over to the piano and dancing to it.
17. Of course, Lincoln isn’t the only one who met someone. Charlie had been spending a lot of his time chatting to people on the internet and I guess he’d been chatting with this girl named Asia, because when I looked into his relationships panel he had a high relationship with her, so I had him invite her over to the house one day.
18. He even got his first kiss from Asia immediately after greeting her.
19. However, Asia of course needed new hair and make up, so I had Charlie give her a makeover with the makeover station.
20. Soon he asked Asia to move into the house with him, his brother, and of course his brother’s girlfriend Ratna. She gladly accepted his invitation and moved into the house right away.
21. After a quick change of clothes, Asia looks wonderful! I think she’s really pretty as well, and the best part is she’s not a face one either! Asia is a family sim just like Charlie.
22. I think these guys are the cutest couple. Especially since they’re both family sims!
23. Since when Lincoln was on Darcy’s computer he maxed out all of his skills, I decided that since he is the heir, he should get a gold badge in flower arranging, so I have him work on his badge when he’s not spending time with his girlfriend.
24. After only a few days of being in love, Charlie proposes to his girlfriend Asia who gladly accepts his proposal.
25. Asia and Ratna get along very well. They became really good friends in a matter of days of living in the same house. They even go outside to toss a football around almost every afternoon. Though I’m not sure how Asia can do it in those heels.
26. In one of the spare rooms I decided to build the family an indoor pool. Charlie loves that idea of mine apparently, because he spends nearly every waking moment in the new pool.
27. Okay, can you honestly tell me that these guys are not the cutest thing ever?! I definitely picked Charlie and Lincoln’s future spouses well.
28. I think I had a point to this picture. But now, it’s just to show you how cute Charlie is.
29. Since Lincoln is a popularity simand Ratna is a fortune sim I decided to let them open their own business for while they are in college. They purchased the lot “Little n Local” that comes with Bluewater Village.
30. They opened a pet shop, and I had Ratna work the cash register. Lincoln did the selling. Charlie did restocking and Asia just sat out back and played poker with people to keep them happy.
31. Lincoln was really good at selling things, and soon he had a bronze badge in selling.
32. Even Sally stopped in to see what the fuss about her son’s business was.
33. With all the money they were earning, they were able to expand the building in no time.
34. It was at about this point, that college was becoming really boring, and I really just wanted Lincoln and Ratna to move back home and have children, so I had Lincoln, Charlie, Ratna, and Asia all drop out. There’s an update on Charlie and Asia’s life after college at the end of the chapter!
35. Back Home With the boys dropped out, Lincoln and Ratna have moved home and moved back in with Sally and Grayson. So here we have the main portion of the legacy!
36. This is the house that Sally, Grayson, Lincoln, Ratna, the cats, and Linc and Ratna’s future children will be calling home.
37. Lincoln looks very handsome as an adult, especially in his green V-neck shirt.
38. Ratna also looks stunning as an adult. I kept her purple eyeshadowsince it matches her new outfit. Ratna is a Gemini with a personality of 4/7/8/3/3. And as I said before, she’s a fortune sim. Her lifetime want is to become city planner.
40. And the following evening they were married. It was a beautiful wedding, however Sally, being the romance sim that she is, thought it would be appropriate to wear her underwear to the ceremony, and stand up rather than sitting in the chairs, so I do not have a picture of the guests because she ruined the picture.
41. Despite Sally’s inappropriate dress, Ratna and Lincoln still had a beautiful outdoor wedding under the orchard trees and shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
42. Then the couple did typical newlywed activities. Though they did not try for a baby, they wanted to wait until they established themselves in their careers and Lincoln’s parents were elders.
43. Lincoln had gotten all the way up to his silver flower arranging badge when he was in college, so it didn’t take long for him to get his gold flower arranging badge when he moved back home.
44. Aw, Grayson and Sally are my first couple to ever do this interaction. And I think it’s so cute with these guys.
45. Upon arriving home from work our lovely boys, Mowgli and Baloo, became elder cats.
47. Soon Grayson and Sally’s birthday arrives, and it’s time for the happy couple to become elders.
48. I think the couple aged into very elegant elders. They are definitely one of the cutest elder couples I have ever seen in my game.
49. With Sally and Grayson now elders, Lincoln and Ratna get started on the next generation of McMania’s right away.
50. I decided to have Sally and Grayson retire since they were both at the top of their career and both permaplat. This way they can stay home with their future grandchildren and allow Ratna and Lincoln to go to work without having to worry about who’s going to watch the children.
51. I’m really glad that Lincoln is heir, he’s extremely handsome, I mean just look at him!
52. Sally has been spending her elder years writing novels. And soon she completes one and gets nearly $3k in royalties and then she relaxes on the loveseat in their living room and read her work. And is it just me, or does the cover of that look like Harry Potter?
53. Ratna soon begins showing the signs of her first pregnancy. I’m really excited to see the baby. I hope we get a little girl this generation since Lincoln is the third boy in a generation of all boys.
55. Lincoln decided that now that he has a job in his dream career track, and he’s about to be a father that he would sell his business that he started in college.
56. Charlie has been stopping by the house quite frequently lately to visit his younger brother and his parents.
57. Later that night, while Lincoln and Charlie are downstairs playing video games, Ratna goes into labor with the first child of the next generation.
58. Meet baby boy Cole* McMania, with his Dad’s skin and red hair, and his Mom’s brown eyes. *Cole is named after Cole Turner from Charmed.
59. And baby girl Melinda* with her Mom’s, eyes, skin, and hair color. *Melinda is named after Melinda Gordon from Ghost Whisperer.
60. These two are very sweet together. Since I have the twins locked in a room of snapdragons the couple seem to always go around the house kissing each other.
61. Lincoln has picked up gardening as a new hobby now, and has been tending the family’s orchard trees.
62. Soon Cole and Melinda’s birthday arrives, and Grandma Sally and Mommy Ratna bring them to their cakes.
63. Cole aged into a cute little toddler. He’s an Aries with a personality of 10/9/5/4/4.
64. Melinda also aged into the little cutie. I think she’s my favorite out of the twins, but I’m not sure. She’s a Virgo with a personality of 10/4/5/4/4. So basically the same as Cole, only Cole is more outgoing than she is.
65. With the twins now toddlers, Lincoln and Ratna conceived their final child.
74. Melinda also aged wonderfully, and picked up a liking for the color purple like her mother.
75. I couldn’t not post a hugging picture of them since they’re twins.
76. Only a few short hours after Cole and Melinda aged up, Ratna was going into labor with the final child of the generation.
77. Meet baby boy Ricky* who at the moment appears to be a clone of Cole. *Ricky is named after Ricky Underwood from The Secret Life of the American Teenager and I was watching the new episode when he was born, therefore he was named after Ricky.
78. Okay, so am I the only one that hates how the cops for pet adoption never go to the person who called, or the closest person to them? Because instead of going to Lincoln, who was downstairs by the front door, the cop had to go upstairs to Ratna, who was just about to take newborn Ricky into his new nursery and lock him in their with snapdragons. So what does Ratna do? She puts Ricky on the floor in the corner so that she can greet the dumb cop.
79. Looks like Mowgli agrees with me because, Mowgli sat by the cops car to inspect the new pet, and did not leave from that spot until the cop came back outside.
80. Meet the newest addition to the McMania family, Scout McMania! Both Cole and Melinda wanted to adopt a puppy so I finally caved and allowed them to adopt Scout.
81. When the children aren’t sleeping, they’re skilling. After all, it is really helpful if they have maxed all of their skills out when going to the next family.
82. Sally and Grayson still like to “celebrate” things the way they did back when they were in college.
83. Apparently, Scout was only a day away from becoming an adult when we adopted him because he aged up as soon as 11am hit.
84. Grayson and Scout hit it off right away, and Grayson was the one that taught him the skills he needed for his promotions.
85. Lincoln: So, Mom, Dad, what do you guys think of your Grandchildren? Sally: Woohoo! Grayson: Honey, I think he knows that’s how they were conceived, but I think that he meant, do we like being Grandparents…
86. Cole and Melinda soon arrive home from their first day of school, and they bring home their cousin.
87. You won’t recognize him yet, but this is Charlie and Asia’s son. Melinda is constantly bringing him home from school.
88. Of course now that they’re children, Cole and Melinda had to be taught how to study.
89. Ratna and Lincoln still have a very high relationship even though they have three children now.
99. Cole maxes out his skills the evening after his twin sister.
100. I just thought this was a cute picture, it seems Baloo and Mowgli still enjoy playing together even as ghosts.
101. Ratna has become City Planner and as a result she is now permaplatinum.
102. With all three children now in school, I decided it was time for the family to entertain the headmaster and try to get Cole, Melinda, and Ricky into private school.
103. It appears the headmaster loved the family, and so Mel and her brothers got into private school!
104. But getting into private school wasn’t the biggest event that night, it was also Cole and Melinda’s birthday. Since Cole was the older twin, he got to go up to his birthday cake first.
107. Melinda also aged wonderfully and rolled family like her Grandpa Grayson.
108. She got a job in the law career track to make a little money, and she was promoted to the top on her first day, thus making her an overachiever.
109. Typical. Lincoln starts a fire and then looks around, like “What? Who started this fire?!”
110. The next afternoon, Cole is promoted to the top of his teen career and he becomes an overachiever as well.
111. With it being fall it makes Melinda’s badge earning much faster, and soon she has a gold flower arranging badge.
112. Ricky also maxes his skills out soon due to the fall advancement of skilling.
113. The next day it was time for Ricky to be come a teenager.
114. The same night it was also time for Ratna and Lincoln to become elders.
115. Ricky aged into a handsome young man and he rolled romance like his Grandma Sally.
116. Lincoln and Ratna aged into elegant elders, but that wasn’t a surprise. They were stunning as adults so it’s only right that they look just as nice as elders.
117. And that’s where I have to say goodbye to this lovely family. BTF, LTR: Sally, Grayson Lincoln, Cole, Ricky, Ratna, Melinda
118. Spares Update Now that you’ve seen what happened in the main legacy house, lets see what happened to our spare, Charlie McMania.
119. Charlie and Asia bought this beautiful little spring cottage with the $20k they were each given when they dropped out of college.
120. The couple soon were wed. Sally, Grayson, Lincoln, and Ratna were in attendance.
121. It was a beautiful wedding, and it was perfect for the happy couple.
122. Of course, after the ceremony the newlyweds headed up to their bedroom to get started on their first child. After all, they were both family sims so they both wanted children right away.
123. It didn’t take very long before Asia began showing the signs of her pregnancy.
124. Asia spent a lot of time working on composting materials, so it wasn’t surprising that she went into labor out in the garden, since she also had a nice bench out there that she liked to relax on and read a book.
125. Asia gave birth to a baby girl named Darcy* with tan skin, blue eyes, and black hair. *Darcy was named after the person who wrote the first two chapters of this joint legacy.
126. Asia gave birth to a baby boy named Dexter* with tan skin, blue eyes, and black hair. *Dexter was named after Charlie and Lincoln’s brother who was sent to Linn/whydoeye199 for the second part of the duelacy.
127. Time flew by and soon it was time for the twins to become toddlers!
128. Darcy aged into the cutest little girl, but that was to be expected because of her parents.
129. Dexter also aged into quite the little cutie pie, though I think his sister might be cuter.
