1. “ The Ocean State” The main reason I chose my topic was because I am from Rhode Island and not many people even know that Rhode Island is a state. Everyone thinks that Rhode Island is either Long Island or part of Massachusetts. In reality though, there are many unique things about Rhode Island that go unnoticed.
