- 4. ACTION PLAN Goal: Educator preparation and development Objective: Provide professional development for staff, stressing the importance of educational technology. Activity/ Strategy Person(s) Responsible Timeline Resources/Funding Formative Evaluation 1. Provide information collected from STaR Chart results. Principal/ Technology Team Beginning of the 2009 academic year Local resources and funds. A power point presentation will be used to provide information STaR Chart results from 2008. 2.Teachers will be provided staff development on how to use a variety of technology programs. Principals, Counselors, Librarians, Dept. Chairs, and Teachers Fall 2009- Spring 2010 On-site campus and staff will train teachers on how to use various Microsoft Office programs. Title I funds and AYP funds will be utilized. STaR Chart survey, walk-throughs, and administrative evaluations. 3. District will provide technology training encompassing all relevant technology tools. Danny Galana, Technology Specialist Fall 2009- Spring 2010 Local resources and funds Survey will be conducted by our technology committee to see what technology tools are being used in the classroom. 4.
