Mr. Rory Moore
As an experienced pilot you may have some doubts after reading the =
subject of this Email, like, is this guy crazy!
During ten years USN Carrier duty, ten years USNR flying duty and over =
twenty eight years Airline time I inadvertently discovered this technique while
flying the F9F Jet fighter, in the Navy reserve program.
I have used this technique on the Boeing 707,727, Lockheed Electra, DC10, and the
Convair 990, with excellent results.
Many of the fatal GA accidents are attributed to landing with full momentum, when
reduced momentum at touch down, might have shortened the roll out distance, or
eliminated or lessened any unavoidable impact.
