   Non-profit Organization of Social Utility

  * takes the form of an association, founded in Trento (Italy)
  * is active since 1999

in South East Asia in order to build a
 Bridge from East to West toward a
           new tomorrow.

                     Mission

GTV is an NGO that works in the international solidarity and
education for development. It's mission is to put in relation the
Trentino community with South East Asia in order to develop
capabilities and exchange experiences with focus on vulnerable
people rights like children, women and minorities. GTV
intends selfdevelopment as an antidote for the exploitation.

Objectives:

The project aims to insert in scholastic
curriculum a formulation courses on
disaster risk management and impact
mitigation. Those activities would involve
not only schools’ class rooms but also the
whole community through socio-
recreational activities, like concert in
schools’ with the participation of parents,
local authorities and different
organizations of the civil society.

                                           Neonatal Health
In the sanitary sector, in collaboration
with Amici della Neonatologia di
Trento, GTV has intervened through

* health sector personel training
activities
* equipment of medical instruments
* rehabilitation of sanitary
infrastructures in particular in the
obstetric-gynecologic and in the
pediatric-neonatologic area.

In all projects, a special attention is
paid to women’s and children’s well-
being, because of their fundamental
role played in the society and
economy and because they usually
represent the less-protected subjects
in developing countries.

Food Security in Atauro – Timor Leste
In collaboration with Santi Martiri Anauniensi Association
The general objective of this project is to
contribute to improve the poverty with the
guarantee of food security and water access
for the population of two Atauro island's
villages (Beloi and Manumeta) in Timor
Est.
Integrating three areas:
1-agricultural and reforestation's
development
2-fishing's development
3-water access

     80 Italian families

          sponsor

80 children in Son Dong, Bac
       Giang Province

 Providing rise, educational
  material, school fees and
 exchange communication
THE APPROACH




The projects are planned and implemented through


 * partecipative methodologies, involving the beneficiary
  population in all phases of the project,
    - from the identification of the needs
    - to the realization of each activity and
    - to the the final evaluation
