«THE SKILLS´ GAME»
CONTEXT
Level: 4th of Primary
Group: 25 students
Term: 3rd term
In our class the level is medium and
there isn´t any student with special
needs.
ACTIVITY: THE SKILLS´ GAME
Every week one child roll the dice of
the four skills:
- Speaking: picture of the mouth
- Listening: picture of the ear
- Reading: picture of the eye
- Writing: picture of the hand
- Roll again
- Surprise
THE SKILLS´ GAME
 First: write a word and draw it in a sheet of paper:
- Nouns
- Verbs
- Adjectives
 Second: Mix the words and create a funny story!
ACTIVITY: CREATING STORIES
 Eg.: Writing
For this activity we are going to divide the class in
groups and each of them will have a category of
words: adverb, verb, adjective and nouns. The
children will have to write in a piece of paper one
word and a picture of it. When all of them had finished
we will put all the papers together and all the class
will have to make up a story using all these words
that they had written before.
RELATION WITH OTHER SUBJECTS
We can relate our activity with the rest of the subjects; for
example:
 Science: with the animals, relation them with their
category
 Maths: create an easy problem or promote mental
arithmetic.
 Spanish: create a story working the different category of
words
 Music: with the musical notes, create a song or a
melody.
 Arts: drawing pictures, create a little comic or story.
CONCLUSION
 The students will work the order of the words in a
sentence, the different categories of words and it´s
promote the creativity with the drawings and the
creation of a story with these words. They have to
work in a collaborative way (promote teamwork).
