GreenPearl Events was founded by Ryan Slack, Mark SUMMIT SPONSORS (P AST & PRESENT)
Schacknies, and Nima Negahban in 2008 to address the
needs of commercial real estate developers, investors,
owners, and service providers to network online and
offline in order to facilitate deal making and
collaboration.
Ryan Slack, CEO, was previously co-founder and CEO of
PropertyShark.com, the real estate data provider, where
he built the platfrom from a single service in NYC to seven
services on a national footprint. Ryan began organizing
successful industry events in 2006 while at PropertyShark,
which eventually took shape as GreenPearl Events.
PropertyShark was sold to Yardi in 2010.
Today, our team is made up of event industry veterans
and creative entrepreneurs who strive to re-invent the
"conference" and make it something more exciting,
valuable, fun, and productive to all participants.

About The Beyond Distress series
The Beyond Distress series began life as the ―Distressed
Real Estate Summit‖ series. Due to changes in the market
place, we’ve updated the agenda and conference
theme. The Beyond Distress has rapidly emerged as one
of the top conference series in the United States focused
on developing and capitalizing distressed, re-
development, and value-added real estate
opportunities. The content addresses the financing,
management, (re-)development, acquisition, and
disposition of real property and notes.
