We are at peak with wearables. 
• Wearable Technology - hailed “The Next Big Thing” by Credit Suisse, who 
predict the market will ramp up from $3B to $50B in the next few years. 
• “By the year 2018, the wearable technology market will be worth $8.36 
billion.” Forbes. 
• “There are already 100 million wearable devices connected to the Internet 
– and that number will grow to half a billion in the next few years.” Matt 
Johnston, Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer, Applause 
• “Roughly 50 million wearable units will be sold in 2014, and more than 180 
million are predicted to sell in 2018.” From the IHS white paper titled 
Wearable Technology - Market Assessment.

• Automotive. 
• High end B2C. 
• Moments…
As we are on to Every Minute 
Marketing. Moments of Joy.
With hardware – we begin with 
ourselves. 
• Deloitte predicted that 10 million wearable 
devices will ship globally in 2014, and most of 
these are likely to be fitness bands.
How many might be in here by March 2015….?
Me Ware: 
• Best people. 
• Fitness freaks. 
• Obsessed with 
tech. 
• With themselves. 
• With me and 
being mobile. 
• Perfect.
Great Wearables..
Or paying, or playing.
Or starting your car…
But I think the real opportunity is.. 
Not B2C 
But Me2B
Here are some problems that could 
slow down the wearable tech trend 
and something to think about: 
• Battery Life: 
• We can overcome some cool stuff with solar. 
• Size: 
• We will overcome this with ‘moore’s law’ 
• But: You still have … 
• The Bluetooth Conundrum. 
• The Dork Factor.

What is the Value Add? 
This is the real bummer.
A more serious one… About data.
Who really becomes empowered?
Who also becomes empowered?
In conclusion… kinda… 
• A fad is something that comes along and is fashionable for a short 
period of time before it disappears without a trace. Meanwhile, a 
trend is a discernible shift in habits that is here to stay.

We are at peak with wearables. • Wearable Technology - hailed “The Next Big Thing” by Credit Suisse, who predict the market will ramp up from $3B to $50B in the next few years. • “By the year 2018, the wearable technology market will be worth $8.36 billion.” Forbes. • “There are already 100 million wearable devices connected to the Internet – and that number will grow to half a billion in the next few years.” Matt Johnston, Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer, Applause • “Roughly 50 million wearable units will be sold in 2014, and more than 180 million are predicted to sell in 2018.” From the IHS white paper titled Wearable Technology - Market Assessment. • BUT…..   • 32. With hardware – we begin with ourselves. • Deloitte predicted that 10 million wearable devices will ship globally in 2014, and most of these are likely to be fitness bands.

  • 51. In conclusion… kinda… • A fad is something that comes along and is fashionable for a short period of time before it disappears without a trace.
