Topic: Literary Project (Families and values)
Final Revision
Aims: to continue working on the topic about families by a literary project
after watching a video the previous class, we will discuss about the moral
message it gives us regarding the importance of family and values. Then, to
conclude with the unit we will make a revision so as to evaluate the
children’s learning.
Objectives: By the end of the lesson the children will have learned new
vocabulary and they will have received a positive message about family
diversity which may change their perspective towards their own family.
Vocabulary: family values
Course: 5th
grade ‘B’
Time: 40 minutes
Materials: *A die with pictures
* A poster
*Worksheets
First activity: As a warm up activity, we are going to return to the story of the
video watched in the previous class, discuss and reflect on the moral
message it gives us. (5 min)
Second Activity: we will play a game: children will have to roll the die which
will have images about family values so as to complete a poster stuck on the
blackboard: Values such as: love, help, care, respect, happiness, home.
Family
Third Activity: In this activity children will have match the words related to
values with their corresponding image.
Fourth Activity: To conclude with the lesson and the whole unit, I will give
children a worksheet for a short revision as a kind of test.
