According to Engagdet, there’s nothing like a good underdog story. Kobo has made some
quality devices, but has still failed to make a huge dent in the e-reader market — a space
dominated by Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Typically overlooked in the eReader markets, the Kobo is actually one of the significant rivals. It
doesn’t have the prominence of either Amazon’s Kindle or Barnes & Noble’s Cranny, and
doesn’t have the brand picture of the Sony Reader, yet it’s still going tough in the face of such
misfortune.
The Kobo Glo is one of Kobo’s current new item variety, and also has its sights established
completely on the Kindle Paperwhite and Cranny Simple Touch GlowLight. With such abundant
opponents, Kobo truly requires to supply something special to make an impact.
