ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in
unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident
within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation
of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine
nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has
been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they
knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they
became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was
darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and
exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form
of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling
creatures.

world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to
decrees, such as, 21“Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!”
22(which all refer to things destined to perish with use)—in accordance
with the commandments and teachings of men? 23 These are matters
which have, to be sure, the appearance of wisdom in self-made
religion and self-abasement and severe treatment of the body, but are
of no value against fleshly indulgence.

Editor's Notes
Since last week, we discussed worship to God and how our worship is holy only because God is Holy, a good follow-up lesson would be a lesson on the Knowing God.
To simply understand the begining of all things, one must know and believe in God. Interesting that Moses did not feel a need to explain who,“God” was, just that God had created the heavens and the earth.
The Godhead
Created in God's image
Coming to know God require seeking Him with ALL OUR HEART! We must come to know God on HIS TERMS not ours!
When we do not have this “insight” what are we left with????
