a concept, it concerns an array of tools,

perspectives for their effective

learning, has become an important
part of society today, comprising an

Education is a life long process therefore
anytime anywhere access to it is the need.
Information explosion is an ever
increasing phenomena therefore there is
need to get access to this information.
Education should meet the needs of
variety of learners and therefore IT is
important in meeting this need.

a huge part of their everyday experience
out of school. Through World Wide Web
they can access to a resources. With all of
this so intrinsic to their 'outside school'
experience, the challenge for the teaching
profession is how to harness all this for
learning within the classroom and at home.

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
This generation of 'digital natives' has
much lower need for libraries of physical
content for example, the traditional
resource used by students half a
generation ago. Learning styles are
changing and teachers need to adapt
their teaching styles accordingly.

The computer has been used in
communication as evident by social networking
sites as to facebook, twitter and friendster. We
can even chat/talk friends and families
anywhere in the globe through yahoo
messenger or the one in facebook or view them
through the webcam. We can send also
messages and information through the internet
in just seconds or minutes.

school learning that is ideal in achieving
instructional goals through preferred
application of educational technology.
In these conceptual models, we shall
see how effective teachers' best interact
with students in innovating learning
activities, while integrating technology

Meaningful Learning
It means full of understanding.
"Meaningful Learning Opposed to rote
learning and refers to a learning way where
the knowledge to acquire is related with
previous knowledge" (Ausubel 2000)

23. Discovery Learning
It is a technique of inquiry-based
instruction and is considered a constructivist
based approach to education.
Discovery Learning encourages students
to actively use their intuition, imagination, and
creatively. It uses inductive reasoning by
starting with the specific and moving to the
general.

24. Generative Learning
In generative learning, we have active
learners who attend to learning events and
generate meaning form these experiences
and draw inferences thereby creating a
personal model or explanation to the new
experience in the context existing
knowledge.

25. Constructivism
In constructivism, the learner
builds a personal understanding
through learning activities and a
good learning environment.

I learn that Educational Technology is
very useful and important for us in the world
we currently live in, that serves in improve our
lives in one way or another, that make much
easier and also advance already existing
software and gadget. It is also very beneficial
in helping the students understand and
absorb what they are being taught.

As a future teacher, I used the
Technology as my tool of teaching since
there are a number of students are visual
leaners, projections screens connected could
be put in classroom that can easily adopt
learning and get how to use Technology that
make them more competitive compared to
an individual who has no access to certain
software or Technology in school.
