2. Civil Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Following up all construction works for Under Ground Station for 5B2 Station
Line 5, Riyadh Metro Project.
 Leading Consultancy services staff, monitoring, directing/advising as necessary.
Conduct meetings with the Contractor to discuss on progress of work, Schedule,
coordination matters and pending issues.
 Conduct internal meetings with the staff to exchange information, ensure their

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Routine site visits to Look after all site operations by following the standards and
specifications & its implementation as per approved Drawings, Method Statements and
approved materials.
 Review the Project specifications, Approved drawings, PQP, ITP, method statement, Material
Submittals, Technical Data Sheets and QC documents for effective implementation.
 Site Inspections with consultant for construction of roads, bridges, culverts, and retaining
walls to ensure compliance with contract documents.
 Conducting the civil inspections with consultants for road pavement, bridges as per structural

Field density Test (FDT) and material testing in laboratory for different kinds of materials
(embankment, sub grade and aggregate base coarse material).

Project: The project to expand the existing network at Jeddah City under the contract
from client Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), to receive efficiently the
Shoaib transmitted Water from Quaiza and Briman reservoirs was constructed by RTCC.
The work included design, coordination, survey, thrust-boring about 1,400 LM across
Highways and major.
Major Responsibilities and Experience:
 Site inspections with consultant & client representatives for different activities of the project, such
as Trenching, bedding, pipe laying, backfilling, asphalting, water proofing & Hydrostatic testing for
the Valves & for the main pipe lines.
 Observing the hydrostatic testing for Butterfly valves, Air valves & Wash out Valves, the testing
procedure includes:
 Visual testing.
 Body testing of the valves under working pressure & the design pressure.
 FDT testing.
 Discussing the technical issues with consultant, client representatives & other related authorities
& taking preventive measures in order to cover the delay & achieve the proper quality work.
 Making progress reports & schedules on daily, weekly, monthly basis & monitoring & updating
the same.
 Submitting & following up with MIRs & RFIs to consultant.
 Comparing quotations received from sub-contractors & finalizing the same.
 Checking & verifying the quantities of the executed activities.
