Job Responsibilities/FieldWork
IN Mineral Explorations
 Doing core and non-core logging. 
 Analyze non-core and core samples and develop litho logical logs (mud logging). 
 Maintain litho logs with proper core recoveries and RQD 
 Construct geo technical logs. 
 Coal sampling according to USGS guidelines. 
 Make panel diagrams and isopach maps of the area. 
 Supervise drilling rigs.. 
 Supervise exploration wells. 
 Supervise geotechnical wells 
 Resource estimation by USGS method
 Doing logging, monitoring site, construct geo technical logs. 

 Geological and geochemical anomaly interpretation, target generation, planning, supervision
and implementation of exploration drilling 
 Geological field mapping (litho logical, structural, geomorphic, alteration, veining, 
mineralization)
 Take shoot of hole angle & azimuth at different depth of hole, using Inclinometer (tropary)
 Monitoring/supervise whole site, Doing core and non-core logging(5rigs operation at a time)

In hydro geological studies
 Monitor process of installation of MS casing, gravelling, well development, and Testing. 
 Monitor geophysical logging. 
 Compare geophysical logs with geological logs. 

 Calculation of Gravel, bentonite sealing & cement. 
 Also doing water well pump test checking water level (drawdown & recovery) continuously with manual
water level & with level logger as well in 24, 72hrs & also in 1month pumping test . 

 Monitor water well discharge by different methods, such as use of a container and stop watch, weir tank,
flow meter etc.
 Calculating Aquifer Conductivity, Tranmissisvity,& Storativity by using software & USGS excel sheet. 
 Taught 16 new geologists
 Supervise al site (having 6rigs operation at a time) 
Report writing and documentation of all the activity (maintain DPR Daily progress Report & geo documentation)
Research Projects & Field Visit
 Thesis on Polish and cut stone on khanubrohi & Khadder area.
