History gives us a rich knowledge of the
past, which help us understand the present.
A knowledge of history allow us to
understand the present and predict the future.
History provides us with valuable lessons of
the past which will guide us in our actions
today.

History promotes tolerance of other
people and their culture.
History can be interesting and fun.
A knowledge of history can make us
proud of our own culture and heritage.
Historical knowledge is no more and
no less than carefully and critically
constructed collective memory.

Jose Rizal, particularly his

The study of the Rizal's works should be
implemented by the government.
To appreciate Rizal's ideals and teachings
in relation to the present conditions of our
country and apply in current social
problems/issues.
To foster the development of the Filipino
youth.

Research the following in the library. Write
your answer on a piece of paper.
1.List the events happened in the world
during Rizal’s time.
2.What were the “evils” done by the Spanish
Government to the Filipino during the time
of Rizal? Explain each.
3.On the back portion of your paper, write
the family tree of Dr.Jose Rizal.
