Day 3: Travel to Tana Toraja – overnight in Rantepao
Day 4: Cultural tour in Tana Toraja; stay second night there
Day 5: Return to Makassar; overnight in Makassar
Day 6: Fly to Bau-bau, Buton Island – stay in Bau-bau
Day 7: Historical tour of Bau-bau, overnight in Bau-bau
Day 8: Travel to Kendari, meet Homestay family
Day 9: in Kendari – Morning school, large group activity
Day 10: in Kendari – Family day with homestay family
Day 11: SMP 5 Kendari – at school
Day 12: am SMP 5 Kendari – midday to Makassar - 5pm to Bali.
Day 13: Day trip to Gunung Kawi, near Ubud; Bali to state
capital (overnight flight)

For teachers, teachers-in-training. Timing encompasses the week of holidays common to all Australian teachers.
Plane leaves at 3pm, so join a morning excursion to PasarBadung, DenpasarArrive in Makassar around 5:30pmA short walk before dinner
Our tour guide will pick us up early in the morning for the road trip to Rantepao, With approx. 8 hours drive ahead, we will pass through Buginese villages with their traditional houses on poles. On the way, we will visit a fishing village in Barru district with its beautiful beach panorama. If we are lucky, we also may see traditional Buginese “Pa’bagan “ fishing boats. We will have lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. In the afternoon, a stop also will be made on PuncakLakawan for a tea/coffee break while enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Kabobong. Late in the afternoon, we will arrive in Rantepao, TanaToraja. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.
After breakfast, we will visit Kete’ Kesu, a local Torajan village where we can find traditional Tongkonan houses and their rice barns. Here we can also see the giant tomb of the Kete’ Kesu royal family. Then we will visit Lemo where we can see hanging graves with their rows of Tau-Tau sculptures. We continue our trip to Londa, a natural grave in a cave with its entombed deceased. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Rantepao. After lunch, we will visit Bori’ to see ancient megaliths.After that, we will go to Tinombayo to enjoy a superb view of the rice terraces and Torajan local villages from the hill-top. Then we will visit Batutumonga from where we can view the town of Rantepao. At last, we will visit Lokomata where we will find graves under a giant megalith. In the afternoon, we will go back to the Hotel for dinner and another overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and join tour Then we will drive back to Makassar, via the same road we took on the first day. Lunch will be served Kenari Bukit Indah Restaurant, Pare-Pare. In the afternoon, you will arrive back in Makassar. Settle back into your hotel, and then we’ll go to dinner
