• human users want more and more capacity & coverage
• heterogeneous – 2.5G+3G+4G+WIFI+???
• ultra low power radio tech for IOT etc. c.f. SigFox
• “wireless fibre” on mmWave w/ MiMo directional antennas
• demand attentive – appropriate speed & latency
• 2020 – and there will be no 6G “if we get it right” …

• “The future of health is wearables & v.v.”
• Start w/ consumer e.g. ivyhealth & Withings et al
• e.g. post surgery monitoring / followups
• e.g. chronic care
• Need to move beyond the “post traumatic healthcare system
• Big opportunity for long term preventative care
• Changes the economic model potentially?
• Apple placing Healthkit as the “trusted intermediary”

• e.g. EU cookie law. Focus on UX!

• Value is in the “small data”, i.e. the individual experience.
