2. Workshop Objectives (1)
Participants will leave the workshop with:
Understanding of the GAAP project’s refined
conceptual framework and how each project fits
within it.
Knowledge of the project vision and milestones of
overall project
Information on the status of each project and its
position in relationship to overall project activities
Identification of opportunities and techniques for
gendered midcourse adjustments, as needed
3. Workshop Objectives (2)
Understanding of the GAAP project’s capacity
building needs of grantees and evaluation
partners
Understanding of a dissemination and outreach
needs and opportunities for sharing project
results across projects and plan to synthesize
lessons learned
Identification of plans for Year 2 (including how
the comparative analysis will be handled)
4. Expectations
To achieve these goals, there is the
expectation that participants will:
• Make themselves familiar with other GAAP
projects
• Share both constraints encountered and
successful strategies in data collection and
evaluation
• Provide input on capacity building needs
• Identify institutional issues that both
encourage and discourage a high level of
quality on gender-related research
