2. COSTUME IDEAS
My typical female reader represents a
‘hipster’ stereotype, the kind of dress style
which is unique and fashionable. I will put
together this type of clothing by creating a
unique image of my models using clothes
such as ‘bomber’ jackets and funky
necklaces mixed with trendy shorts and
jeans. This will help to create an image for
my reader of the type of music my magazine
is generated at. I will use sunglasses and
give my models big curly hair to help create
the whole sense of my model. In the images
the girls display cute and simple poses, I will
follow this style of postures in my photoshoot.
3. PROPS IDEAS
I think props are important in a music
magazine, it helps declare that it is a
music magazine rather than a fashion
magazine for example. I will use a
microphone in my photo shoot to express
the sense of music, I will use a chair to get
a bigger use of angles so that not all
photos are all directly at the model but will
be from angles of a chair too. I will have
two photo shoots, one in the school with
the white backdrop and one in London's
back streets, this is too create a wide
variety in my photos. The backstreets in
London have a big choice of graffiti this
will demonstrate my urban/pop music
theme.
