3. History Grandfather mountain got it’s name because of it’s shape in some of the cliffs. The original Cherokee name was ‘Tanawha’ which means fabulous hawk or eagle. They recognized some of the faces in the cliff.

4. Swaying Bridge It took $15,000 to build the bridge. The bridge was built in 1952. Charles Hartman Jr, designed it. You need to climb fifty stairs to get to the top. The bridge is one mile high off the ground.

5. Lodging We are staying at the Eseeola Lodge at Lineville Golf Club. It costs $350 a night. Some activities you can do is golf, spa, kids camps, and fishing. They have their own cook. They have salads, soup, and entrees.
