– Managing routine; managing MDM; Community
interactions (to enquire absentees, dropouts);
Attending meetings, trainings, nodal works, union;
Addressing needs of special campaigns ( reading
campaign in Rajasthan), entertaining visitors.
• Varying concerns
– Authorities demands; community pressures,
Pedagogical issues, student needs, policy and
program pressures.
5. • Bearing on the quality and equity
– There can be long term implications of certain decisions
and striking balance between various concerns can have
bearing on the quality of solution and also on equity
issues.
• Resolve
– Decisions need to resolve issues, not postpone or
complicate it and so it being ‘sound’ and agreeable to all, is
important.
• Based on policies, processes and principles
– Decisions need to be situated in the framework of above,
so that it enjoys acceptance and respect.
