ABOUT THE LOCATION
Kalimpong is hill station of great beauty with picturesque landscape,
colorful sunrise and sunset, beautiful valleys adorned with hundreds
of varieties of flowers in varied colour is among one of the most
beautiful hill stations in India. Kalimpong town is located on a ridge
connecting two hills, Deolo Hill and Durbin Hill, at an elevation of
4,100 feet from the sea levels. Deolo, the highest point in
Kalimpong, has an altitude of 5,590 feet and Durbin Hill is at an
elevation of 4,501 feet from the sea level. The River Teesta flows in
the valley below and separates Kalimpong from the state of Sikkim.
ABOUT REGIONAL RESEARCH STATION (HILL
ZONE), UBKV
The Regional Research Station (Hill Zone) situated at Kalimpong
under the administrative control of Uttar Banga Krishi
Viswavidyalaya since February 2001. The station is undertaking
need based research activities on important crops, their cultivation
technique, soil problem and insect-pest and disease problems to cater
the requirement of farming community for enhancing agricultural
productivity in the region. The station is also committed to address
the future challenges in meeting the demands of the growing
population and contribute in ensuring food, nutritional and livelihood
security in today’s climate changed world.
ABOUT KALIMPONG SCIENCE CENTRE
Kalimpong Science Centre is located about 9 KM to the north of the
Kalimpong town and cover an area of 7 acres of hilly land.
Kalimpong Science Centre communicates science and technology to
the peoples in such a way with the primary objective of developing a
scientific temper in the society and promoting of the knowledge and
ideas of science on various educational institutions.
ABOUT THE HIMSFAR
The Himalayan Scientific Society for Fundamental and Applied
Research (HIMSFAR) is a registered scientific society under West
Bengal Act XXVI of 1961and to provide an excellent platform for
interaction between scientists, professionals and academicians
working in various aspects of fundamental and applied sciences
through meetings, interactions, colloquium, seminars, symposia,
lectures, debate, discussions, conferences, and refreshment courses to

Registration process can be initiated after receiving acceptance letter
of full paper.
NOTE: In case Research article is accepted by the editorial
committee it will be published and released on the day of conference;
in case the delegates are not able to physically present their paper due
to some or other reason his/her research paper will be published (in
absentia) and published copy along with certificate will be dispatched
to his/her correspondence address by post just after the conference at
no extra cost. All communication should be by e-mail/online only
(no hard copy is required to be posted).
Mandatory steps to be followed:-
1. In case of multi authored research paper, at least one full
Registration is mandatory.
2. In case other author/co-author wish to physically attend the
conference they need to pay full Registration fees individually,
separate Journal & Certificate along with the conference kit will be
issued to them. Co- Authors are requested to fill & submit separate
Registration forms in case they are physically attending the
conference.
3. Charges for extra copy of Journal/ Certificate for other Co-author
(if required) should be paid along with preliminary Registration by
the corresponding author.
