Client Research The NHS is a company that is trying to help the whole of the UK get into healthy habits at a young age, instead of getting into older age and only then start getting healthy habits which is good. However, not good enough, compared to starting earlier. The benefits of starting to be healthier at a younger age you will be less likely to run into any health issues compared to when you're older for example, not being able to breath properly, obesity and heath conditions The NHS ultimately want the best for your health so you don’t have to pay to get better, when you can have a healthier lifestyle naturally. They are wanting this because there is a wide range of people being unhealthy all over the UK, for example there is obese and anorexic people who don’t take any action for their health. So, the NHS are trying to help people with these problems
  2. 2. What ill be working on is a project for the NHS aimed to change 16- to 19-year-old. I'm doing this to promote a healthier lifestyle towards younger people and showing the positive impacts of this to potentially changing their lives and lifestyle Ill be showing the impacts of healthier life's styles and preventing the usage of smoking and vapes
  3. 3. Better health is an NHS campaign that is something to present to people how they should start getting healthy and prevent people smoking and vaping to hopefully getting them to quit. Furthermore, the same scenario with drinking, they are wanting to help people stop binge drinking and help them stop. The better health campaign also provides multiple things to help such as apps and ideas to help you gain healthy habits, for example The NHS weight loss plan, food scanner and the active 10 app. Furthermore, these apps and recourses provide professional advice an example, being days off being active and resting days for your body to fully recover NHS's Better Health also provides a 'Mind Matters' link that has things such as supported topics around mental health improvement and also provides things which can potentially help you, like problem solving, tracking your worries and getting back at life's challenges. Furthermore, it's not just written statements its videos that help you understand visually and verbally in the video for anyone to understand. They also possess things such as getting a Free Mind Plan to help you deal with stress, anxiety, boosting your mood and overall helping you get a better sleep and feeling more in control. Furthermore, they also include anxiety easing emails to help you deal with it in daily routine.
  4. 4. Who are the NHS: The NHS is a company that supports everyone in any way they need possible. They are an organization of different roles in very wide rage & specific role possible, this so they can help everyone they can and help solve all their issues. The Ideas / values of the NHS: The NHS can give you anything they can to help you, for example they offer how to get a GP, (to register with a local one and how to book it too) Prescriptions and Pharmacies, Hospitals, Mental Health Service and Visiting or moving to England.

I've chosen to do drinking because it's a lot more accessible than people think, with this I believe it's best to talk about especially with my target audience being in the range of 12- to 20-year-olds. I'm wanting to be able to make it aware that it's not good for teens to be drinking at a young age especially and some teens ask people to go in shops for them and they actually do it and it's really bad and should feel guilty. Google stated: about one in sixth 13 year old grade students (15%), 31% of 15 year olds and 52% of twelfth graders report they consumed alcohol in the past year. From 2021 to 2022, annual alcohol consumption among 12th graders (17 year olds) increased significantly 12% proportionally from 47% to 52%. Our client the NHS also have a prevention drinking app called "Drink Free Days" to help anyone who suffers from drinking too much, they also have options to do instead of drinking like little steps towards making it to not drinking Local corner shops and supermarkets have now got updated the legal age of been able to buy drinks in their stores up 21 so you can longer just get it when you are 18 because your body still hasn’t fully developed in building itself and drinking can and will halter and ruin it and could potentially cause damage to your body
  6. 6. My target audience is from the ages of between 15 to 20 years old and im going to be looking into how and what they do with drinking and to see how significantly bad it actually is. In 2019, 29% of teen ages just drank alcohol this would have mainly been through social gatherings and party's and 14% of teen ages binge drank. Furthermore, 9% of an age range of 12 to 20 year olds binge drank within 30 days of the year With these facts this will dramatically change youths lives through their attitude, education and their production in schoolwork and their own interests. With this can also lead to early unwanted pregnancies and suicides
  7. 7. Change 4 Life Change4Life is the Government initiative that aims to improve diet and fitness levels amongst the UK population. The campaign is supported by the Department of Health and intends to target the growing problem of obesity in a very hands-on, positive way, by instilling healthy eating and exercise habits into people from a young age. They also have a calorie counting links to help you plan and to help you lose weight in an efficient matter. Catch It, Bin It, Kill it was a movement to spread the awareness of the pandemic during 2020 and 2021 to make people more hygienic and get them to be cleaner and help prevent lives get taken from said disease too. This has been a more recent movement towards awareness. Catch It. Bin It. Kill It
  8. 8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIr5cibbMzM In this advertisement it shows two students just looking at each other but the more we as the viewer watch we start to see a story where this girl starts to get flash backs drinking at a house party. These students don’t really look older than 14 to 15 so this shows how easily accessible it is to get alcohol at a young age. The further we watch we see that she gets more flash backs the more people she passes, and this also shows it has an impact on your brain drastically, meaning that it could lead to a lack of concentration in classes and education. Finally, we watch till near the end we see that before both students pass there is a flash back to her being sick and the male student watches, then coming back to the present and then goes to humiliate her. Drinking at an age like this is more than likely to happen where people will make fun of you for stuff you’ve done while drunk and can lead to being bullied, losing friends and ruining your reputation. The words "Think About It" are quite bold, in the sense that its target audience is in the same category as mine, which is 12- to 20-year-olds. With using them words and this advert its showing that there is consequences to what happens when you are drunk and that you can be humiliated for doing something as simple as being sick, but not just that, your appearance and potentially losing friends through arguments over drinking. "Think About It" is really showing that should you really be wasting your time and health drinking.
