  2. 2. FADE IN 1. EXT. STREET - DAY Residential street with people walking past, birds singing. There is a big white house. As people walk by, they stare at the house and mumble something to themselves or one another if they are walking with someone else. 2. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY An ordinary looking living room, the sound of FATHER violently shutting the door is heard in the background. FATHER race up the stairs into SON’s room. 3. INT. ROOM - DAY A typical boy’s room with boy’s furniture and toys. There is a wall full of pictures of a young girl, maps and labels on the pictures. FATHE is in the room and starts ripping it off the wall. 4. INT. CATHOLIC CHURCH - DAY A church is seen in the distance and as we come closer it turns out it’s a Roman Catholic church. It’s very decorative on the inside. FATHER is praying in the church. 5. INT. COUNSELLING ROOM - DAY A light room with sofas, on which there are sitting two characters, SON and COUNSELLOR. SON lays on the leather sofa and closes his eyes while COUNCELLOR asks him questions. COUNSELLOR How are you feeling about leaving? SON (nervously) I don’t really know... I feel a bit confused right now and I’m scared about going home. (CONTINUED)
  3. 3. CONTINUED: 2. COUNSELLOR Why are you scared of going home? Do you feel that you won’t be able to get used to living an ordinary life? SON It’s not that, I just don’t want my dad to be disappointed in me. FADE OUT
