In respond of all requests in terms of control and validation for digital documents, the solution
Symagine integrates Enfocus PitStop Server solution.

History
DMS bought the Teleprosoft company in 2003 in order to improve the existing functions
of Prinéo and to develop new modules (estimate creation, web submission, PDF
conversion, etc) to meet provider’ needs.
All kinds of Printhouse were becoming more interested in new technologies and wish to
better manage their printing flows and customers relationship. They are looking for
full solutions that can be rapidly implemented and most of all easy to use and cost
effective.
Therefore, the solution is constantly developed and each version offers new technical
and functional elements.
In 2006, DMS launched « Prinéo Caméléon » . This new version is particularly user
friendly, with access to a portal integrating an online store and multiple printing
services. It’s a cost-effective, all-in-one solution using Web technology concepts.

to the services, or departments existing in the solution.
Large Format » documents orders*
Initially, to process large format documents, the user needed first to convert the document
to PDF or use the « Prinéo Caméléon » virtual printer.
This new feature now allows each user to submit TIF or PLT type large format documents
directly from the portal.
On the « Prinéo Caméléon » « Provider » portal, you can now recognize and display large
format documents in the orders list with a specific pictogram.

The Counter Service principle
The print room operator or the user can enter order requests without the electronic
document.
This way requests made by users directly at the print room counter desk from original
documents (paper documents for example) can be processed.
Variable data in PDF format
The solution now enables variable data management directly from documents in PDF
format. This improves the quality of customized documents, particularly in terms of
colorimetric performance.
The templates previously created, are available in PDF format from a specific tab on the
user portal.

Order process
Printing jobs are centralized in a unique interface.
All received documents are in PDF format, ready to be printed.
Follow up
All actions made on the order are traced and logged.

This catalogue describes the centre capacity to handle or not an order according to the
user’s requirements.
The Online Store

products, supplies… directly from the portal.
Online payment
Once this module is activated, users can pay for their orders online from the online payment
banking portal.

Authentification
The client enters user id and password to log into the « Prinéo Caméléon » portal.
Company directory
« Prinéo Caméléon » is compatible with LDAP directories or Active Directory. The user’s
management is updated in real-time or according to a defined frequency.
SSO / C.A.S. Authentication (optional module) allows the user to connect directly to the
« Prinéo Caméléon » portal without going through a second authentication procedure.
Controller/Controled mode
The order validation before sending can be parameterized or reconfigured: quantity, price,
delivery deadline, are some of the elements that can be modified.
Document conversion to PDF/A*
« Prinéo Caméléon » now offers the ability to convert documents into PDF/A standard to
ensure greater quality.

This « Graphics Arts » version integrates colorimetric ICC profiles in order to control colours
throughout the entire graphic chain until the printing of the document.
