Starting off at just 18 years old,
Kylie quickly climbed the ranks to become
one of the youngest billionaires of our time.

November 2015 and only 18 years old,
Kylie Jenner launched Kylie Lip Kits
a collection of three lip liquid lipsticks with
corresponding lip liners.

The project started out with just 5,000 units
priced at $29 each and in 6 months,
they were all sold out.

So, in 2016, Jenner renamed her brand
to Kylie cosmetics and added three more lip kits
to her already successful product
line up to keep up with demand.

In November of the same year,
Jenner collaborated with her half-sister Khloe
Kardashian for the Koko x Kylie collection
and as expected, it sold out.

In August 2017, Jenner revealed that
the launch of the holiday collection
on Nov. 21, 2016, was the brand’s biggest sales
day to date, generating roughly
$19 million in just 24 hours.

Similar to her partnership with Khloe,
Kylie collaborated with Kim in 2017
creating the KKW.
The KKW by Kylie Cosmetics collaboration
sold out immediately,
generating $13.5 million in sales.

Two years later, 20 year old Jenner
made Forbes’ list of America’s Richest Self-Made
Women, ranking at number 27 with
an estimated net worth of $900 million.

And in May of 2019,
Jenner came on the skin-care market
with Kylie Skin.
Jenner launched the brand with
a line of six skin-care products,
including a Foaming Face Wash,
Walnut Face Scrub, Vanilla Milk Toner,
Vitamin C Serum,
Face Moisturizer and Eye Cream.

And in 2019,
it was announced that Jenner sold a 51 percent
majority stake in her beauty empire to Coty Inc.,
in a deal totaling $600 million.
The deal valued the business at $1.2 billion
leaving her to stay on with the brand,
focusing on product development and social
media.
