Startet lokalt basert på grunderenes erfaring med manglende systemstøtte og enkelhet. Begge grundere har erfaring fra utelivsbransjen. Begynte i Bergen, fikk gode råd fra ItsLearning om å starte lokalt og gi full gass.
TC lanserte i markedet januar 2013
When Tysnesfest took the digital leap with TicketCo this summer...
TC gjorde alt salg på Tysnesfest....første fullscala test på ny visjon
And over 64% was sold through our mobile technologies, either on the audience device, or through the organiser app Tysnesfest used. We have about 90+ devices set up for Tysnesfest to work on with over 10 different physical locations.
Over 100 000 transaksjoner på festivalen
Selskapet modent til å prøve seg utenfor Norge
70% av alle transaksjoner på Tysnesfest. 99% mobilpenetrasjon i Norge
Conclusion 1 is that ticketing is dead from a technology provider point of view. What organizers need is a unified e-commerce and POS solution catering for event industry specfic needs.
TicketCo has been “mobile friendly” for the end usersince late 2013. This includes scaling seating maps into the limited screen real-estate of the mobile screen.
But we have taken it 1 step further. This summer we launched the web-app TicketCompanion in partnership with Tysnesfest.
The main mission was to introduce:
A cashless system where the audience could top up their customer balances
Add what we call “Fast track payments” into the web app for frictionless payments. You store your card details and through our partnership with the payment service providere Adyen, get essentially a “1-click payment” experience when purchasing.
Extend our already existing organiser app with cash less functionality
The end game is that we created a mobile experience for both Tysnesfest and their audinece. This in a unified fashion for all mobile users.
In the instant you charged the end users customer profile they got receipt notification of their purchases in TicketCompanion
