  1. Chevron Corporation 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders At the Annual Meeting of Stockholders on May 28, 2008, the following proposals were voted upon. The vote required and method of counting for each proposal is described in Chevron's 2008 Proxy Statement on pages 3-4. For Item 1, a director nominee was elected if he or she received a majority of the votes cast (i.e. number of shares voted quot;forquot; exceeded the number of shares voted quot;againstquot;); abstentions were not counted.
