Group decisions in the workgroup are made using different models depending on the situation. Three situations and their models will be described and critiqued for effectiveness. Power and conflict in the workplace will also be discussed. A powerful group in the organization will be identified and analyzed for what gives them power. Managers will be asked how to minimize conflict if employees perceive a disparity of power between groups.
