BELIEVE TO SEE 04 - FAITH THAT HEALS - PTR. JOSEPH FERMIN - 10AM MORNING SERVICE
1.
2. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and
said, “Why could we not drive it out?”
20 And He said to them, “Because of the littleness
of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have
faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to
this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it
will move; and nothing will be impossible to
you.

12. 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our
image, in our likeness,…
27 So God created mankind in His own image,…
28 God blessed them…
31 God saw all that He had made, and it was
very good.
13.
14. 16 To the woman he said, “I will make your pains
in childbearing very severe; with painful labor
you will give birth to children.

19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your
food until you return to the ground, since from it
you were taken; for dust you are and to dust
you will return.”
15.
16.
17. 6 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in
your hands; but you must spare his life.”
7 So Satan went out from the presence of the
Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the
soles of his feet to the crown of his head. 8 Then
Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped
himself with it as he sat among the ashes.
18.
19.
20. 12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through
one man, and death through sin, and in this way
death came to all people, because all sinned.
21.
22.
23. 40 Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed
him, for they were all expecting him.
41 Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue
leader, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with
him to come to his house 42 because his only
daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying. As
Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost
crushed him.
24. 43 And a woman was there who had been subject
to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could
heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched
the edge of his cloak, and immediately her
bleeding stopped. 45 “Who touched me?” Jesus
asked. When they all denied it, Peter said,
“Master, the people are crowding and pressing
against you.”
46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know
that power has gone out from me.”
25. 47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go
unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In
the presence of all the people, she told why she
had touched him and how she had been instantly
healed.
48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith
has healed you. Go in peace.”
26. 49 While Jesus was still speaking, someone came
from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader.
“Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don’t bother
the teacher anymore.”
50 Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be
afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
51 When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did
not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John
and James, and the child’s father and mother.
27. 52 Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and
mourning for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She
is not dead but asleep.”
53 They laughed at him, knowing that she was
dead. 54 But he took her by the hand and said,
“My child, get up!” 55 Her spirit returned, and at
once she stood up. Then Jesus told them to give
her something to eat. 56 Her parents were
astonished, but he ordered them not to tell
anyone what had happened.

32.
33. 1 As he went along, he saw a man blind from
birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who
sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born
blind?”
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said
Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of
God might be displayed in him.
34.
35.
36.
37. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the
sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If
they have sinned, they will be forgiven.
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and
pray for each other so that you may be
healed. The prayer of a righteous person is
powerful and effective.
38.
39.
40. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in
every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
41. 7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because he
cares for you.
42. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not
doubt, because the one who doubts is like a
wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
7 That person should not expect to receive
anything from the Lord.
43.
44.
45. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it
away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is
sufficient for you, for my power is made
perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all
the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that
Christ’s power may rest on me.
46.
47.
48. “My story is constantly
writing itself,” he explains.
“It wasn’t until my darkest
hour that I realised I had
something to share. This
message is not only my own,
but one of something greater
than myself.”
49. “One night I had three knives in front of me,
asking myself, ‘Which one will cut the deepest?’
That’s when I picked up the Bible and read a
psalm that said, “Why so downcast, O my soul?
Put your hope in God.” From that moment, life
began to change. “I realised that I was still
holding on to the past, that bitterness and that
baggage, and the only way to let go was to
forgive,”
50. “Doctors gave up
hope…It’s by the grace of
God that he’s allowed me
to be here.”
“My T cell level is at an
all-time high giving me a
zero per cent chance of
passing on the
virus…miracles have been
persistent in my life,
therefore faith has been
persistent in my life.”
51. 1 When Jesus came down from the mountainside,
large crowds followed him. 2 A man with leprosy
came and knelt before him and said,
“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me
clean.”
3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the
man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”
Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
52. 4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our
suffering, yet we considered him punished by
God, stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he
was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment
that brought us peace was on him, and by his
wounds we are healed.
53. 22 A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
