Welcome to the Private School Session!!!
After successfully organized sessions in different regions of Georgia, including school session
which was the first step of involving school students in European Youth Parliament, we are
pleased to announce that Private School Session will be held on the 18-20th of February in
European School. EYP-Georgia through its two years’ history has been willingly waiting for the
session for school students, as it meets EYP’s main value – promote education at schools.
Public School Session was a brilliant example that the true EYP spirit can be formed in the
school-aged-people. School Sessions have a significant importance to EYP-Georgia.
Increasing involvement school people in our activities is one of the strategic goals of European
Youth Parliament. . Delegates of the session include active students of 9 th-12th grade of Private
Schools of Tbilisi. Most of the delegates will be new comers so the session will provide actively
involved New EYP Generation. 100 students from different leading private schools will have a
wonderful opportunity to learn about the European Parliament, the committee works and be
actively involved in the solutions for the specific problems concerning the EU and Georgia.
It will be one of the biggest events ever organized by EYP. About 100 delegates and 30
officials will participate in this session. You are going to spend three unforgettable days which
have power to fulfil your dreams and expectations. Orga-team trying to make session
interesting, funny and unforgettable. It will be full of surprises.
So you are welcomed to the Private School Session - the event with limitless opportunities.

Teambuilding
Who said that learning can’t be fun? Bright
example of that is teambuilding. On the first day
chairpersons, whose responsibility is to
coordinate committees, use creative methods
and games to help members of group to work
together as a team.
Dress Code: Outside activity closing/comfortable
for you
Committee Presentation
Committee presentation is a performance, which is
made by each committee using the word given by the
Journalists team. The words are all different. Every
member of the committee must be involved in this
performance. The aim of the committee presentation is
to show how talented are the delegates and compete
which is the best committee.

Opening Ceremony (Friday, February 18)
The Opening Ceremony is the official start of
the Session. The board of the session
(President and Vice Presidents) will announce
Private School Session officially opened.
The Opening Ceremony will be held in the Big
Hall of European School.
Dress code: Formal (Suit, Shirt, Tie, Dress. No
Jeans or Casuals).
Committee Work (February 18 – 19, 2011)
During the first two days all the committees are
going to work separately on their topics. They will
discuss the issues and then work the resolutions out.
The Chairs will help delegates to brainstorm and
later compile the problems and their solutions.
Dress Code: Comfortable for You. Casuals are
welcome.
General Assembly (Sunday, February 20)
General Assembly is the final of the Session. All the
committees have to present and then defend their
resolutions. During the GA committees will discuss the
topics presented before. General Assembly is the
chance to show others how hard you worked during
past two days and that you deserve to be a session
delegate in future.
During the day each committee asks questions or
gives attack speeches against the presenter
committee. Sometimes they can even support their
competitors.
After each committee presentation delegates vote for the resolution. The Resolution is
successfully passed if more than half of delegates voted in favor.

Closing Ceremony (Sunday, February 20)
After General Assembly, the president and vice
presidents of the session announce official closing
of the school session. The delegates, chairs,
journos and Orgas are given deserved
certificates for active participation in the session.
Closing Ceremony is the end of the official part of
the session.
And the most amazing part of closing ceremony –
the Introduction of Session video and second
issue of the newspaper that will be made by best
journo team. The video will describe the whole
three days life of the Private School Session. As
usual this is the funniest moments of you can
remember.
Venue
The Session will be held in Free University of
Tbilisi, which is one of the best private
universities in Georgia. There you can find
very comfortable atmosphere and the best
technical assistance will definitely help you
in fruitful work.
Free University of Tbilisi is located on the
Nutsubidze Plateau I, Bedia Street.

DRESSCODE

We can’t imagine any official event without Dress Code, which is
one of the important parts of all.
First of all, you will be in important atmosphere where several VIPs
will be come. Suits for gentlemen, suit, skirt, dress for ladies for
Opening Ceremony, General Assembly. No Jeans
It would be uncomfortable to wear high heels and mini-skirts,
during the teambuilding.
For committee work, you should wear flexible clothes, like Jeans
(Without holes), no t-shirts.
Please try to be as academic as it possible.
