The document describes the Learner Information System (LIS) used by Buhatan National High School. The LIS aims to standardize learner registration, track learner performance and progress, provide information for planning, and manage learner records. Classroom advisers are responsible for enrolling learners accurately in the system and updating learner data. Guidelines specify that annual enrollment data should be entered by July 11th and include learners attending from the school opening until the first Friday cutoff date. Late enrollees and additional tags for programs should also be recorded.

2. What is LIS?
A system for maintaining the registry of
learners aimed at meeting the following
objectives:
Provide a standardized registration
system for learners
Track learner progress/performance
Provide learner information for better
program planning and supervision of
schools and learning centers
Enhance management of learner records
3. Roles of the Classroom Adviser
•Enroll appropriate enrollees to
section handled
•Update or correct personal
background and information of
learners
4. NOTE:
The classroom advisers need
the SF1 (School Register) in
filling up the data in the LIS
5. Guidelines:
Class advisers shall be responsible
for updating enrolment and learner
data in the LIS. They must ensure
that information in their respective
class registries are updated and
accurate.
6. Guidelines:
Enrolment data in the LIS must be
based on learners who actually
reported in school from the date of
the school opening (i.e. June 2,
2014). In enrolling learners in the LIS,
the “Date of First Attendance” must
be entered. This refers to the actual
date the learner reported in school for
the current school year (Note: This is
NOT the registration or enrolment
date).
7. Guidelines:
The cut-off date for reporting “annual
enrolment” is the 1st Friday (June 6,
2014) of the week of school opening. This
annual enrolment is the total number of
learner who reported in school and
attended classes from the school opening
to the cut-off date (June 2-6, 2014).
These data constituting the annual data
will be entered in the LIS only until July
11, 2014. after this date, the annual
enrolment data will be automatically
pushed to the enrolment summaries in
the EBEIS. These summarized data in
the EBEIS shall serve as official basis for
the 2015 budget execution.
8. Guidelines:
Late enrolees are learners who
reported in school after the June 6,
2014 cut-off date. These data be
encoded in the system including their
“Date of First Attendance” after the
enrolment data of June 2 – 6 have
been entered in the system. In order to
maintain an updated learner registry,
late enrolees can still be encoded in
the system even beyond the July 11,
2014 deadline for encoding annual
enrolment data.
9. Guidelines:
Additional enrolment data referred
to as “enrolment tags” shall be
collected and these are the
following:
10. 1. CCT Recipient refers to learners
whose families are recipients of
the Conditional Cash Transfer
(CCT) under Pantawid Pamilyang
Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the
DSWD
11. 2. ALIVE refers to learners who are
enrolled in Arabic Language and
Islamic Values Education classes.
12. 3. Balik-aral refers to learners who
finished a grade level, stopped
schooling and enrolled in the next
grade level after a year or more as
of the enrolment cut-off date.
13. 4. Repeater refers to learners who
failed or left a particular grade
level in any previous school year
and are enrolled in the same
grade level where they left or
failed, as of the enrolment cut-off
date.
