3. The first data found in the middle ages, in relation to the current lands of Cudillero. In the limit of
two powerful ecclesiastical entities, “Oviedo” and “Pravia”, is would arise where a small fishing port
that today holds the capital.
It will be in the 13th century, when it will start a period of transformation in this sector. It is at this
time when “la puebla de Pravia” was founded and since then all the lands of the current Cudillero
will be integrated in Pravia. The first news relative to the existence of the town of Cudillero is longer
which refers to a donation to the monastery tinetense in 1285. The population was overturned in the

8. The Saint Roque church: it was built in 1787
and it has a very interesting picture of “The Magdalena”.
The school: it is a primary school.

9. Oviñana has some restaurants where we can eat.
• “The Coffee” is a family restaurant. Its decoration is very nice. We
can eat fresh fish and shellfish. The rice with lobster and home
salad are delicious.
• “ The Cave” is a restaurant very famous because they cook a
delicious sailor clams and exquisite croquettes. There are shellfish
inside fish tank and you can choose which you like it. The desserts
are exquisite too. You can eat various home cakes: cheese cake,
lemon cake and almond cake.
• “ The Roosters “ is excellent restaurant because
it has impressive views. On Monday
and Friday, the price of menu is ten
euros. Here we can eat octopus
and prawns.
