2. Introduction This presentation is about dataflow for a back to back sales order line and how to navigate between SO /Requisition/PO through Supply Order Work bench. Please Note that OM doesn't store any info about the Req/PO created for b2b order line.Supply to Order UI is easy way to navigate between b2b OM and PO modules. I am Oracle Apps/BPEL/Workflow Analyst and blogger with 14+ Years of Experience. eoracleapps @hotmail.com Blog – eoracleapps.blogspot.com
3. B2B Order with Supply to Order Workbench. This presentation is all about back to back order data flow from the prospective of Supply to Order workbench UI. For a back to back sales order there is no Order Management UI that explicitly show which sales order tied to which Purchasing Requisition/Purchase Order. Even there is no direct link between Order management /Purchasing tables .If we have to link the b2b Order table with purchasing table we need to link them via MTL_RESERVATION. Rather than writing query or doing fuzzy queries to see what b2b order link to requisition/PO, I personally feel that Navigation that Oracle has provided via Supply to Order workbench is very easy and interesting. Just in few click we can see what line of back to back sales order connected to requisition/Purchase order in Purchasing Module.
8. Progress b2b order line. Once Sales Order Booked , select the order line and from popup menu select progress Order , and progress line from Create Supply Order Eligible Status.
9. B2b line populated in requisition Interface Once SO data inserted into Requisition Interface table , SO line status changed to PO-Req requested.
10. B2B – Requisition Created Via Requisition Import Once Requisition Import CP creates requisition in PO Module Order line status will changes to PO-Req Created.
11. B2B Supply to Order Workbench Navigate to b2b to Requisition via Supply to Order Workbench.
12. B2B Supply to Order Workbench Once in Supply to Order Workbench , Select the Supply type (requisition ) , system will displays the requisition details created for b2b line
13. B2B Supply to Order Workbench Requisition details created for b2b line. Note down the requisition #. NOTE – Oracle OM doesn’t capture the b2b requisition number in any of the OM tables , Supply to Order workbench is key UI to get the requisition # for a b2b order line.
19. B2B Order – Supply to Order Workbench Navigate again to b2b SO line and Select Action> Supply to Order workbench, this Time supply type would be Purchase Order ( as PO already got created from requisition) Navigate through the Supply Type link an it will take to PO details.
20. B2B Order – Supply to Order Workbench B2B PO details.
21. B2B Order – Data Corruption B2B OM and PO tables connected via MTL_RESERVATIONS, in case data in reservation table corrupted , there are fare changes that we lost link between b2b OM and PO.
