Standard: G.G.22 – Find and use measures of perimeter, circumference, and area of common geometric figures such as
parallelograms, trapezoids, circles, and triangles.
Objective: When given the dimensions of 5 common geometric shapes, students will accurately calculate the perimeter and area
(and circumference, if appropriate) of 4 of them shapes, by the end of the lesson.
