RE: Elizabeth Simeral
I had the pleasure of being guided by Elizabeth Simeral when I was named to be an On-
Line instructor of a newly created Managerial Accounting course at Hiram College launched more
than a year ago. Regarding my new assignment - in a word - I was nervous, lost, up a creek
without my paddle and water was slowly seeping into my boat.
To the rescue stepped up Elizabeth who was responsible for rescuing lost, bewildered On-
Line instructors from drowning. First, she created a Saturday morning, hands on workshop, using
her vast memory to develop a repertoire of shortcuts I could utilize to master the technological
aspects of my On-Line course. Secondly, Elizabeth spent much time communicating with me via
e-mail and across-the-desk tutoring sessions to make sure I would be able to deliver a flawless
presentation to my unseen students without a hitch. Thirdly, Elizabeth followed up with me as the
eight week period went along, making sure I had no questions and had not unknowingly stumbled
along the way.
Elizabeth Simeral is a hardworking, industrious individual who is always intent on making
herself better. Even though her schedule was crowded (as she was in great demand), she always
managed to find time to squeeze you and your concerns into her work day (sometimes without a
lot of notice).
She knows the importance of setting and achieving goals. Elizabeth is responsible,
demanding of herself and takes well to understanding and following orders, assignments and
direction. She is polite and pleasant. I believe Elizabeth will be an asset to your organization.
