5. Toxic faith... … means one embraces a falsehood as though it were true. embracing lies
6. By the word “toxic” it is meant that... such false belief is poisonous and hazardous to one’s emotional and spiritualwell-being. TOXIC FAITH

8. The Origins of Toxic Faith No one starts out to have toxic faith. No one starts out to hold falsehoods as truth. So how does this happen? misbelief toxic faith

15. So what we believe really matters: The content of faith is important! 1Cor 15:1 Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you ... that Christ died for our sins ... 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day….
16. So what we believe really matters: The content of faith is important! 15:2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. Believing the wrong message is fatal!

Gal 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-- 7 which is really no gospel atall. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again… Paul calls it: “different” “no gospel” “perverted” “other gospel”
