Week 2 Review of the attributes… Review Good and Evil Sanctification
Before we go into the daily review… Let us talk about something that is foundational to our lives in YHWH/Yashua… FAITH! So let us review..
None of these attributes work without faith. One has to understand that YHWH is the chief ruler and has dominion over his creation. 100% Faith is required. 99% Faith is no Faith! Habakkuk 2:4	Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Faith Is the spiritual vessel for divine abundance, invoking the best blessings of health, personal welfare and livelihood. Faith brings a person to the level of true patience, composure and inner peace. One with faith can be counted on by YHWH and his or her family. They trust YHWH over all things.
Emunah (Faith) Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
No matter what the situation… YAH IS IN CONTROL Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [HIS] purpose.
Day 8: “Chesed of Gevurah” – Loving-kindness in discipline The underlying intention and motive in discipline is love. Think how we discipline or should discipline our children! Why do we measure our behavior, why do we establish standards and expect people to live up to them – only because of love? ‘Chesed’ of ‘gevurah’ is the ‘love’ in discipline; it is the recognition that your own personal discipline and the discipline you expect of others is only an expression of love. It is the understanding that we have no right to judge others; we have a right only to love them and that includes wanting to see the best come out of them.
Text for the day: “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil. Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven. Give, and it shall be given to you, good measure pressed down and shaken together and running over, they shall give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you measure, it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:35-38
Ask yourself: When I judge and criticize another, is it in any way tinged with my own contempt and irritation? Is there any hidden satisfaction in seeing someone else fail? Or is it only out of love for the other? Exercise for the day: Before you speak with someone, first check yourself.
Day 9: “Gevurah of GevurahThe Discipline and or Justice in Disciplinerah” – Examine the discipline factor of discipline: Is my discipline reasonably restrained or is it excessive? Do I have enough self discipline in my own life that I may exercise discipline on others? Am I organized? Do I use my time efficiently? Why do I have problems with discipline and what can I do to improve my situation? Do I take time every day to take account of my schedule and my accomplishments?
Text for the day: “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does YHVH require of you but to do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your Elohim?” Mic.6:8
Day 10: “Tiferet of Gevurah” Compassion in discipline Underlying and driving discipline must not only have love but also compassion. It is the compassion that makes the love unconditional. It is love for the sake of love. Is this not the lesson that Messiah gives us, that we are to love unconditionally, that we should be prepared to lay down our lives for our brother? ‘Tiferet’ is the result of total selflessness in the eyes of the Almighty. You love for no apparent reason or motivation; you love because you are a reflection of the Almighty in the image or likeness of the Messiah Yashua. Does my discipline have this element of compassion?
Text for the day: “For YHWH will bring His people justice; and He shall have compassion on His servants, for He sees that their power is gone, and only the imprisoned and abandoned remain.” Deut. 32:36
Day 11: “Netzach of Gevurah” – The Endurance or Eternity of Discipline Effective discipline must be effective and tenacious. Is my discipline consistent or does it come into play only when forced. Do I follow through with my discipline? Am I perceived as a weak disciplinarian? Do I give in just for the sake of “keeping the peace”?
Text for the day: “And if we are troubled, it is for your consolation and salvation, -being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer; if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.” 2 Cor. 1:6
Day 12: “Hod of Gevurah” – The Humility in Discipline The results of discipline without humility are obvious. Some of the world’s greatest catastrophes have been as a result of people sitting in arrogant judgment of others. Am I arrogant in the name of what I see to be just? Do I ever find myself placing myself above others and passing judgment upon them? What about my children, my students or my peers at work?
Text for the day: “Blessed are the humble! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” Matt.5:3 Thought: Instead of passing judgment on someone, lift that person up in prayer and pray for a deeper understanding and possibly a change in the situation.
Day 13: “Yesod of Gevurah” – Foundational bonding in Discipline For discipline to be effective it must be coupled with commitment and foundational bonding. Both when we discipline ourselves (a very important aspect not to be overlooked) and others there has to be a sense that the discipline is important for developing a stronger bond. Not that I discipline you, but that we are doing it together for our mutual benefit.
Text for the day: “Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of Your hands.” Ps. 102:25 Thought: Demonstrate to one you have to discipline that it is an expression of intensifying your bond and commitment to each other.
Day 14: “Malchut of Gevurah” – Nobility of Discipline Discipline, like love, must enhance personal dignity. Discipline that damages the self-esteem of another will come to no good. Healthy discipline should bolster self-esteem and help to bring out the best in that person and by that cultivate his uniqueness. Does my discipline harm the inner spirit of people; does it weaken or strengthen me and others?
Considering this weeks Parsha readings…here’s a quote from Carl and Julie Parker on Tazria; Two Laws at War Within Us: I agree that the law [Torah] is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For in my inner being I delight in God's law [the Torah];
but I see another law [nomos: the law of sin and death] at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin (and death - nomos) at work within my members. Thanks be to God -- through Yashua Ha Mashiach our Savior! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law [Torah, the law of life], but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin [and death - nomos].
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Yashua Ha Mashiach, because through Yashua Ha Mashiach the law of the Spirit of life [Torah/ the realm of life] set me free from the law of sin and death [nomos/the realm of death] (Romans 7:16-18, 22-23, 25; 8:1-2).
Yetzer Hara Vs. YetzerTov The battle between good and evil. Yetzer Hara = Evil Inclination Human neshamah YetzerTov= The Good (Godly Desire) Devine Neshma
All of our battles start with a wrestling match between The Human neshmah and the Divine Neshma If we reason with Him and accept HIS WILL, He dispatch HIS “WORD” (YASHUA) to help us. Isaiah 1:18	Come now, and let us reason together, saith YHWH: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Yashua Fully reacts to our desires and pleas. This is HOW Faith works. 1Cr 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
YHWH always makes a way… And although WE are tempted, YHWH is not! James 1:13	Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: The Evil Inclination seeks to draw you away from the Kingdom agenda:
James 1:14-17 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Do not bedeceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil (Hebrews 5:14). We have the ability to forgive; this is our new nature given us, which takes unclean thoughts into captivity. By the power of the Spirit of YHWH we can train ourselves to hold wrong judgments up to the Word of YHWH. This is how to break the cycle of unforgiveness and strongholds in our lives. Question: If we are set “free” by Yashua’sdeath and resurrection, why are there just as much infirmity, psychiatric disorder and biological disease among believers as there is in the world? Are we living in deception, trying to act like we are a new creation when in reality we look and feel just like the old as if none of the promises of a renewed life are for us? We are the body of Yashua. Is Yashua diseased, insane or bitter? No! Does the Congregation of Yashua need to be converted again? No! Rather the grace of YHWH makes it possible for us to recognize what is good versus what is evil, so we can choose to walk in His upright ways in holiness before Him and be blessed.- Carl and Julie Parker
Honoring Torah/Yashua Sanctifies us Sanctify them in the Truth; Thy word is Truth - John 17:17 Choosing HIS WILL completes the emotional attributes. Keeps us from sin Brings us closer to YHWH
Carl and Julie Parker.. Staying inside Torah protects us and binds the Enemy. Stepping outside Torah looses the Enemy’s ability to operate in our lives and we become prey for his attack. What is staying inside Torah? Staying inside His commandments, the realms that lead to Life, and eating of the Tree of Life, Yashua, the Living Torah. Outside Torah means being exposed to a realm that could lead to death. This is partaking of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. That tree may look good but evil lurks behind the false attraction and false fruit. YHWH desires to be our covering. That is why He has given us the applications for life. Our covering is Yashua. He is the love, fullness and the goal of Torah.
Week four of the counting of the Omer And ParashaEmor Insights
Breakdown of the attributes
WEEK 4 – “NETZACH” – Eternal and Endurance During the fourth week of the Omer, we examine and refine the emotional attribute of endurance known as ‘Netzach’. ‘Netzach’ means endurance and forever as in everlasting. It includes fortitude and ambition and is a combination of determination and tenacity. It is a balance of patience, persistence and raw guts. Endurance is also being reliable and accountable, which establishes security and commitment.
Without endurance, any good endeavor or intention has no chance of success. Endurance means to be alive, to be driven by what counts and having a zest for life. It is a readiness to fight for what you believe in, to go all the way. This requires endurance that is closely monitored and used in a healthy and productive manner.
Day 22: “Chesed of Netzach” Loving-kindness in Endurance For anything to endure it needs to be loved. A neutral or indifferent attitude will reflect in a marginal commitment. If you have difficulty making commitments, examine how much you love and enjoy the object that requires your commitment. Text for the day: “Remember, O YHWH, Your tender mercies and Your loving-kindnesses; for they are from eternity.” Ps. 25:6
Questions Do I love my work, my family or the life that YAH has given me? For endurance to be effective it needs to be caring and loving. Does my endurance cause me to be, or seem to be, inflexible? Does my drive and determination cause me to be controlling? Am I too demanding? Do others (my employees, friends or my children) cooperate with me out of sheer force of my will and drive, or out of love?
Exercise for the day Check all of my motives to see if what I am doing is out of love.
Day 23: “Gevurah of Netzach” – Discipline in Endurance Examine the discipline of your endurance. Endurance must be directed toward productive goals and expressed in a constructive manner. Is my endurance and determination focused to help cultivate good habits and break bad ones? Or is it the other way around? Does my endurance come from strength or weakness? Does it come out of deep conviction or out of defensiveness? Do I use my endurance against itself by being tenacious in my lack of determination?
Text for the day: “I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not hidden Your loving- kindness and Your truth from the great congregation.” Ps. 40:10 Mat 10:22	And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 1Cr 13:7 Bearethall things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. (Love)
Exercise for the day Ask the Heavenly Father to show you a bad habit that you have developed. Repent and Renounce the habit. Trust that the Father has the power to cause you to be disciplined and endure.
Day 24: “Tiferet of Netzach” – Compassion in Endurance Healthy endurance, directed to develop good qualities and modify bad ones, will always be compassionate. The compassion of endurance reflects a most beautiful quality of endurance: an enduring commitment to help another grow spiritually. Endurance without compassion is misguided and selfish. Endurance needs to be more than just love to those who deserve it but also compassion to the less fortunate. Does my determination compromise my compassion for others? Am I able to rise above my ego and empathize for others? Am I able to rise above my ego and empathize with my competitors? Am I gracious in victory as well as in defeat?
Text for the day: “For YHWH is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations.” Ps. 100:5 Mat 20:34	So Yashua had compassion [on them], and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him..
Exercise for the day Learn to listen to the people that you normally block out. Listen to the people that normally test your patience. For some of you that means that you should now listen to me 
Day 25: “Netzach of Netzach” – Endurance in Endurance Everyone has willpower and determination. We have the capacity to endure much more than we can imagine and to prevail under the most trying circumstances. The life stories of the holocaust survivors bare witness to this.
Ask yourself: Is my behavior erratic? Am I inconsistent and unreliable? Am I afraid of accessing my endurance and committing? Do I fear being trapped by my commitment? If yes, why? Is it a reaction to some past trauma? Instead of cultivating endurance in healthy areas, have I developed a capacity for endurance of unhealthy experiences? Do I enjoy more pain than pleasure? Do I underestimate my capacity to endure?
Text for the day “And they sang, praising and giving thanks to YHWH, because He is good, for His mercy endures forever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised YHWH, because the foundation of the house of YHWH was laid.” Ezra 3:11
Exercise for the day: Know when you commit to doing something, you are not committing to doing it alone. Ask YHWH to grant you Heavenly assistance in completing your desired goal/task. Don’t be afraid when committing. Faith/Fear. We have to have one or the other.
Day 26: “Hod of Netzach” – Humility or honor in Endurance Yielding, a result of humility is an essential element of enduring. Standing fast or being stubborn can sometimes be a formula for destruction. The oak tree which lacks the ability to bend in a hurricane is uprooted. The reed, which yields to the wind, survives the fiercest of storms without a problem.
The key is knowing when to yield. We need to yield out of strength and not asa result of fear. Why am I so often afraid to yield? Endurance is fueled by inner strength. The honor in endurance is the humble recognition and acknowledgement that the capacity to endure and prevail comes from the soul – nefesh – that YHWH gave to each and every one of us. This humility does not compromise the drive of endurance; on the contrary it intensifies it, because human endurance can go only so far and endure only so much, whereas that which comes from the Divine soul is limitless.
Text for the day: “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory; to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;” Eph. 3:16 Do I attribute my success solely to my own strength and determination or do I give the glory to the Father? Am I convinced that I am all powerful due to my level of endurance or do I submit to the will and grace of the Father? Do I acknowledge the source of my strength in time when things seem so bleak? Do we give thanks in times of plentiful provision or do we only cry out when we are in need?
Exercise for the day: To ensure the endurance of your new resolution, bond with it immediately. This can be assured by promptly actualizing your resolution in some constructive deed, You might do this through the service of another family member or brother or sister.
Day 27: “Yesod of Netzach” – Bonding in Endurance Bonding is an essential part of endurance. It expresses your unwavering commitment to the person or experience you are bonding with, a commitment so powerful that you will endure all to preserve it. Endurance without bonding will not endure.
Text for the day: “He has scattered abroad; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be lifted up with honor.” Ps. 122:9
Exercise for the day Love without respect of persons. This will bond you with Heaven and with the brethren.
Day 28: “Malchut of Netzach” – the Nobility in Endurance Sovereignty is the cornerstone of endurance. Endurance that encompasses the previous six qualities is indeed a tribute and testimony to the majesty of the creation of the human spirit. Is my endurance dignified? Does it bring out the best in me? Does it bring out the best in those around me? When faced with hardships do I behave with the majesty that Yashua did? Do I walk with my head up, confident in knowing who I am in Messiah or do I cower and shrivel up in fear?
Text for the day: “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your rule endures throughout all generations.” Ps. 145:13 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Mat 6:33 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven. Mat 7:21
Exercise for the day Focus on goals that bring the kingdom to earth. Reply to your enemies with a dignified response. Look up not down!
Scriptures Romans Chapter 12
Act 4:32  	The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things common. Act 4:33  	With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Yashua. Great grace was on them all. Act 4:34  	For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold.
Remember We are getting ready… Anticipating the renewal of the outpouring of the Ruach Ha Kodesh. He gives the Ruach without measure.
Review After studying the attributes for the week, what will you take on? Will you be in action and take what you Shema and use it?
All of this is about the kingdom! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvKEHn9pbu4 ,[object Object]

  • 1. Week 2 Review of the attributes… Review Good and Evil Sanctification
  • 2. Before we go into the daily review… Let us talk about something that is foundational to our lives in YHWH/Yashua… FAITH! So let us review..
  • 4. Faith Is the spiritual vessel for divine abundance, invoking the best blessings of health, personal welfare and livelihood. Faith brings a person to the level of true patience, composure and inner peace. One with faith can be counted on by YHWH and his or her family. They trust YHWH over all things.
  • 6. No matter what the situation… YAH IS IN CONTROL Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [HIS] purpose.
  • 9. Ask yourself: When I judge and criticize another, is it in any way tinged with my own contempt and irritation? Is there any hidden satisfaction in seeing someone else fail? Or is it only out of love for the other? Exercise for the day: Before you speak with someone, first check yourself.
  • 11. Text for the day: “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does YHVH require of you but to do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your Elohim?” Mic.6:8
  • 13. Text for the day: “For YHWH will bring His people justice; and He shall have compassion on His servants, for He sees that their power is gone, and only the imprisoned and abandoned remain.” Deut. 32:36
  • 15. Text for the day: “And if we are troubled, it is for your consolation and salvation, -being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer; if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.” 2 Cor. 1:6
  • 17. Text for the day: “Blessed are the humble! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” Matt.5:3 Thought: Instead of passing judgment on someone, lift that person up in prayer and pray for a deeper understanding and possibly a change in the situation.
  • 19. Text for the day: “Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of Your hands.” Ps. 102:25 Thought: Demonstrate to one you have to discipline that it is an expression of intensifying your bond and commitment to each other.
  • 21. Considering this weeks Parsha readings…here’s a quote from Carl and Julie Parker on Tazria; Two Laws at War Within Us: I agree that the law [Torah] is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For in my inner being I delight in God's law [the Torah];
  • 22. but I see another law [nomos: the law of sin and death] at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin (and death - nomos) at work within my members. Thanks be to God -- through Yashua Ha Mashiach our Savior! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law [Torah, the law of life], but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin [and death - nomos].
  • 24. Yetzer Hara Vs. YetzerTov The battle between good and evil. Yetzer Hara = Evil Inclination Human neshamah YetzerTov= The Good (Godly Desire) Devine Neshma
  • 30. Honoring Torah/Yashua Sanctifies us Sanctify them in the Truth; Thy word is Truth - John 17:17 Choosing HIS WILL completes the emotional attributes. Keeps us from sin Brings us closer to YHWH
  • 32. Week four of the counting of the Omer And ParashaEmor Insights
  • 33. Breakdown of the attributes
  • 35. Without endurance, any good endeavor or intention has no chance of success. Endurance means to be alive, to be driven by what counts and having a zest for life. It is a readiness to fight for what you believe in, to go all the way. This requires endurance that is closely monitored and used in a healthy and productive manner.
  • 38. Exercise for the day Check all of my motives to see if what I am doing is out of love.
  • 40. (Love)
  • 41. Exercise for the day Ask the Heavenly Father to show you a bad habit that you have developed. Repent and Renounce the habit. Trust that the Father has the power to cause you to be disciplined and endure.
  • 43. Text for the day: “For YHWH is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations.” Ps. 100:5 Mat 20:34 So Yashua had compassion [on them], and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him..
  • 44. Exercise for the day Learn to listen to the people that you normally block out. Listen to the people that normally test your patience. For some of you that means that you should now listen to me 
  • 45. Day 25: “Netzach of Netzach” – Endurance in Endurance Everyone has willpower and determination. We have the capacity to endure much more than we can imagine and to prevail under the most trying circumstances. The life stories of the holocaust survivors bare witness to this.
  • 47. Text for the day “And they sang, praising and giving thanks to YHWH, because He is good, for His mercy endures forever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised YHWH, because the foundation of the house of YHWH was laid.” Ezra 3:11
  • 48. Exercise for the day: Know when you commit to doing something, you are not committing to doing it alone. Ask YHWH to grant you Heavenly assistance in completing your desired goal/task. Don’t be afraid when committing. Faith/Fear. We have to have one or the other.
  • 52. Exercise for the day: To ensure the endurance of your new resolution, bond with it immediately. This can be assured by promptly actualizing your resolution in some constructive deed, You might do this through the service of another family member or brother or sister.
  • 53. Day 27: “Yesod of Netzach” – Bonding in Endurance Bonding is an essential part of endurance. It expresses your unwavering commitment to the person or experience you are bonding with, a commitment so powerful that you will endure all to preserve it. Endurance without bonding will not endure.
  • 54. Text for the day: “He has scattered abroad; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be lifted up with honor.” Ps. 122:9
  • 55. Exercise for the day Love without respect of persons. This will bond you with Heaven and with the brethren.
  • 57. Mat 7:21
  • 58. Exercise for the day Focus on goals that bring the kingdom to earth. Reply to your enemies with a dignified response. Look up not down!
  • 59. Scriptures Romans Chapter 12
  • 61. Remember We are getting ready… Anticipating the renewal of the outpouring of the Ruach Ha Kodesh. He gives the Ruach without measure.
  • 62. Review After studying the attributes for the week, what will you take on? Will you be in action and take what you Shema and use it?
  • 63.
  • 64. If we really want the kingdom life
  • 65. What will we do to change so that we might have the abundant life that Y’shua teaches us about.
  • 66. Living a KINGDOM lifestyle.
