1. Students are assigned a final paper to apply two theoretical perspectives to a social problem and analyze their strengths and weaknesses. 2. The paper must be 5-7 pages and include an introduction identifying the social problem, a discussion of sexism and its impact on diverse populations, a presentation of the major ideas in two theoretical perspectives and how they apply to the social problem. 3. It should also analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each perspective and which is most useful for social workers, discuss what was learned about the problem from the theories, and conclude. An additional page should assess learning activities to enhance practice and address personal biases.
